Teams call / phone bleed thru

Got this message from a user this afternoon. He's a VP and was extremely unhappy that his Teams meeting was being overheard by a caller.

"I was on a Teams Call and a call came into ADS and the call was transferred to me. I didn’t even know it; my phone never Rang! So I didn’t accept or Decline!! Very Strange. Alan has already looked at my Zoom settings and is asking Zoom for help…"

Any thoughts? My executive team is freaking out

Hello @alancarter75 . If you don't have MS Teams integrated with your Zoom account, I would suggest to do so and enable “Presence” integration, that way, Zoom should show user's engaged in a Meeting as busy. At the same time, the Zoom Phone should be configured to send the call to Voicemail if busy as opposed to provide “Call Waiting”

In the Zoom App > Settings > Notification & Sounds, make sure the option "Hide incoming calls during meetings” is not enabled; it could be the reason there was no notification and the VP might have “Answer” without knowing; just beside that setting there is another one: "Alert me but allow me to continue my current task”: you might want to change it to “block my current activity” so there is no way that incoming call can passed without any notice.

There is always the option to mark oneself as DND to manually block incoming calls: Zoom allows you to do it with a “Timer” (i.e. for 1 hour) so it will get disabled automatically and there is no risk to forget it is in place.

None of the workarounds are ideal but you have options.

Let me know how it goes.  Kind regards.

Hello @alancarter75 .
Did you get the chance to test the suggestions from my previous post?
