After reviewing the Allowing Participants panelist to rejoin Zoom article I still had questions about the functionality of the Remove participants feature.
Wanted to confirm that as a Host, Co-host, or Zoom Admins you can remove a participant from a live meeting?
Participants can't remove other participants from a live meeting?
Once a participant has been removed from a live meeting they will not be able to rejoin using the same email address that day unless the meeting is ended and re-launched by the host?
If the meeting is a reoccurring meeting and the student is removed on the first day of the training will they be able to join the meeting the next day?
Is there an association between the remove participant feature and whether or not participants must register to enter the live meeting?

Hello RichardsonM,
Yes, a Host or Co-host can remove a participant from a live meeting. A participant cannot remove other participants.
If you have enabled Allow removed participants to rejoin then, you are correct that once a participant has been removed from a live meeting they will not be able to rejoin using the same email address that day unless the meeting is ended and re-launched by the host?
Once the meeting is re-launched the following day the previously removed participant will be able to join.
There is no correlation to registration, the article is referencing Webinar attendees that may or may not have registered for the session and being able to manage them.

In response to your examples:
Example 1 - By default, if you remove a participant from the live session, they will not be able to rejoin the session using the same email address, but will be able to rejoin a future session.
Example 2 - Only if the participant is able to join with a different Zoom account. Zoom does provide and encourage the use of additional in meeting security features such as enabling waiting room, which will prevent participants being able to immediately join the session until they have been admitted by the Host/Co-host.

Okay, so there is not currently an option to permanently remove a participant from a recurring meeting then. The remove participant feature only applies to preventing a participant from rejoining the live instance in which they were removed from and not all related instances associated with that meeting id.
It is recommended to use other security features such as the waiting room to prevent any unwanted guests from joining your Zoom meetings.

The ability of removed students to rejoin a session is dependent on the Allow removed participants to rejoin setting being enabled. A follow-up question I had would be if at the Master account settings the Allow removed participants to rejoin setting is enabled but not locked and at the group level "teachers" the setting is disabled and locked then if a host in the the "teachers" group removed a participant from a meeting that student wouldn't be able to rejoin that day or the next because the Allow removed participants to rejoin is disabled correct?
Two examples: the "teachers" are within a Zoom group where the Allow removed participants to rejoin setting is disabled and locked.
1. a participant is removed from the session due to inappropriate behavior and foul language. So the "Teacher" host of the meeting removes the student after the first day of the course. The course is a 5-day training course this student shouldn't be able to rejoin the remaining 4 days of the training using the email address that was removed correct?
2. A participant is removed from a Zoom meeting by accident by the "teacher"/ host of the meeting and should be in the training session. This student will not be able to rejoin the meeting unless this setting is unlocked and enabled and the Zoom
potential workaround to avoid adjusting the setting- Have the customer join the session from a different computer or device. Are there any other options here?
As trying to use a different email address on the same computer wouldn't work correct?
