Profile picture not showing up when I join a meeting or turn off video

I have a profile picture for my Zoom account which previously showed up when I joined a meeting (before I turned on Video) or when I turned Video off during a meeting.

Recently my profile picture stopped appearing when I was signed in with the

video off. This has happened in several different meetings.

I have a Zoom account, and if I start a meeting my profile picture does appear when I have Video off.

How can I fix this?

Hello, Caroline. I'm sorry you are having issues with your profile picture not appearing with the video off. Here is what I would try.

1. Go to the Zoom web portal.  www.zoom.us
2. Sign in
3. Click Profile
4. Click the pencil (see the image attached)
5. Add a new photo
6. Save if needed
7. Start a Zoom meeting with the app and see if your picture shows with the camera off. 

Please let me know if this works. If it does work, please click Accept as Solution.

I also deleted and reloaded my picture, and it still did not work.

This did not work.  I deleted and reloaded the profile picture, and it still does not show up when I turn the camera off.

If the profile picture is in there and saved, why doesn't it show up when the video is turned off?  It used to work and then I updated my profile pic and now it won't work.  Please help!  Thanks

Is there a way to get your profile image to show during a call without logging into your acccount first?
