Hi everyone,

 

Just wondering if there is a way to chat with people that may be in the waiting room back and forth (meaning they can respond) without being admitted into a meeting?

Hi @SM13 

Unfortunately, you can only send messages out to the Waiting Room. Those in the Waiting Room cannot respond back. 

hi Bort, I see that your response is from Aug last year. Has the reply from Wait room participants been activated in a recent update? I adjusted settings last week in a meeting but it still doesn't seem to work:(

Yes, this is now possible as of the October client release: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4411402992653-Release-notes-for-October-25-2021

 

Be sure that everyone is connected with version 5.8.0 or higher.
