Can't make someone a co-host

I have a pro account, and I follow the directions to make someone a co host (click participants, hover over someone's name, and choose "make a co-host"), but I do not have that option when I hover. Can anyone help with this?

Thank you very much.

Hi michaelz,

Please make sure co-host setting is enabled.

“User

To enable the co-host feature for your own use:

Sign into the Zoom web portal.

In the navigation panel, click Settings.

Click the Meeting tab.

Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that the Co-host setting is enabled.

If the setting is disabled, click the toggle  to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, click Turn On to verify the change.

Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level, and you will need to contact your Zoom administrator.”

Have been using Zoom for 3 years. Never had a problem assigning a guest as co-host. First week of October, 2023, although the co-host setting is enabled, there is no menu option to assign a co-host! This is very disruptive to the use of Zoom!!

What's up with that?

The only option that is given, even though my co-host toggle is enabled, is "host."  There is no "co-host" option next to a person's name.  Does "host" inculde "co-host" as well?

Same here!  No option in Settings for co-host, non-existent!
