Hi @gnosies
To assign an alternative host in Zoom, you can designate another Licensed user on the same account to act as the alternative host. This can be done during the meeting scheduling process. In the Zoom desktop app for Windows, macOS, or Linux, you need to click on Schedule in the Home tab, then go to Advanced Options and enter the alternative host's name or email address in the designated field. Make sure to select the checkbox to allow the alternative host to add or edit polls before clicking Schedule to finish.
For the Zoom mobile app on Android or iOS, sign in and tap on Schedule in the Meetings tab. Proceed to Advanced Options, then Alternative Hosts, and enter the user(s) you want to add as alternative hosts. Toggle the option to allow them to add or edit polls if needed, and then tap Schedule to complete the scheduling process.
Additionally, when using the Zoom web portal, navigate to Meetings in the navigation menu, select Schedule A Meeting, and scroll down to Options. Click Show to view additional meeting options, then enter the alternative host's email address in the Alternative Hosts field. You can also enable the option to allow alternative hosts to add or edit polls before saving the changes.
After designating the alternative host, they will receive an email notification informing them that they have been added as an alternative host, provided they have not disabled this email notification in the Zoom web portal.
