On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom Calendar Integration with Proton

In the interest of security, I'm switching from Google to Proton for my email & calendar, Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Zoom is able to integrate with Proton calendar. Are there any plans to expand calendar integration so it is compatible with more than the current Zoom, Google, or Microsoft 365 (Exchange) calendar services?

Is also what I am looking for. It doesn't look professional that when I send out invitations via Zoom Calendar, they are not sent from my business email. It also messes up my line of communication with my clients when they start responding to the invites...

You have a few solutions. You can create the meetings in Zoom and copy them over to Proton. You can try the Proton calendar integration with Zoom. Alternatively there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you create Zoom invites and send calendar invites to your Proton email and calendar account automatically upon meeting creation.

Although, none of these options will allow you to book a ZoomRoom withing Proton Calendar 😕
