No audio from videos or presentations when playing through zoom

Hi, I am trying to play a video or download from another tab through zoom but there is no audio. The normal audio on the zoom is on and the participants can hear me, they just can't hear the audio from the other tab on the laptop. I am using a mac. Thoughts?
