Have you ever wanted to customize your meeting summary?  Make it something different than the general template but the same every time (say for a sales call or a project stand up)?  Zoom now has Custom AI Companion to allow you to do this (plus much more):

User:  Custom Meeting Summary Templates:  User Demo
Admin: Custom Meeting Summary Templates:  Admin Setup

You can also add a custom dictionary to make the summaries more accurate & tailored for your business:  Custom Dictionary

The custom meeting summary is not working. I can create one but not able to select it in meetings. I understand there's an ads on for custom meeting summaries *already have AI Companion already enabled and have the Pro subscription* and really need support to include the add on to my account. The add on is not available in the Plan Management- add ons section.

Same issue for me! Can someone support on this please?

@orsisimon , Custom Meeting Summary templates require a Custom AI Companion license.  Make sure that the account has one of these licenses and it is properly assigned to you on the account.

If it is, another common reason these custom summaries are not showing up is because the group your license is in, is not added to the specific meeting summary template in the admin portal.

I have a ticket open for this. Carmel has been assisting me. I don't understand how some of the people in my organization can turn this off and on and change the template for the summary on previous summaries yet it is grayed out for me. We have the same settings and the same roles/permissions, yet I can't use this. Carmel had told me to go through meetings at the top of the list on the left and then previous to change the template. There's a couple problems with that.

1. I need to be able to view the template before I save it so that I know if it is the right option for the meeting.

2. I did as was instructed and changed the template and saved it and I don't see it with the new template.

I need to be able to take the path that was shown in the end user video.

Summaries > Click on summary to change template > click on the dropdown to choose a new template.

Seems it should work. My IT guru said that maybe there is a defect in my account. Carmel says I need admin permissions.. my coworkers do not have admin permissions; therefore, I don't think that's correct. I've requested a zoom meeting with Carmel but have not heard anything yet. As a consultant I need to be able to use this amazing feature to make my job easier so that I don't use an outside program to do what zoom is saying it can do.

Any resolution on this? I have the same issue.

This issue requires migrating to a new account with a BAA for ai custom meeting summaries. The current BAA is not for AI.

Yes. Your account needs to be migrated and a new BAA signed for AI Companion meeting summary. It's not a simple add on. If you migrate, know your current summaries cannot be updated and transcripts are not fully migrated. It took about 4 weeks in total for me because my other subscriptions webinars etc. Couldn't be migrated off of the owner's account which is me so I had to use a second email for the new account then invited my original account to the new one. It didn't resolve the problem. The tradeoffs include an improved clinical meeting summaries customized by me.

Need to migrate to a new account and a new BAA signed. The add on is not an add on which is the problem.

Folks, download your transcripts before migrating.

I have an Enterprise account through my employer with the same setup as my coworkers who have the ability to change their templates.
