I’m new to using Zoom and still trying to understand its basic features. I’ve recently started attending online meetings and noticed that some people record sessions for later use. However, I’m not sure how this recording process works, who is allowed to record, and where the recordings are saved. Can someone explain in a simple way how to record meetings on Zoom and what steps I need to follow as a beginner?

[Summary] I am experiencing a persistent issue where clicking a Zoom meeting link automatically opens the web browser version instead of launching the desktop application. This occurs even when I have disabled the "Join from your browser" link in my web portal settings.[Environment] OS: macOS (Occurs on two separate MacBooks) Browser: Chrome, Safari Account: Personal account (Free/Basic tier) [Steps already taken] Web Portal Settings: Disabled "Show 'Join from your browser' link" in the "In Meeting (Advanced)" section. Reinstallation: Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom desktop client. Browser Cleanup: Cleared browser cache, cookies, and reset protocol handler permissions for app.zoom.us. Different Devices: Reproduced the same issue on a second computer with the same account. Hello Community,One of our enterprise premier users has encountered an issue with generating Zoom logs for their two recent meetings that took place on April 14th. In the provided Screenshot, the user has two meetings. But she cannot generate reports using the icons on the right side. I as an administration have tried to generate the reports for her as well, but the Report icon is greyed out for these and all other meetings for our tenet.Please can I have assistance with troubleshooting this issue?Sincerely,Terrence NarayanBCNU IT Support Technician

I’m writing as a paid Zoom customer and long-time power user to report a regression in window management behavior on Windows that is impacting daily use.Recent Zoom desktop versions appear to have removed or obscured global controls related to window priority and “always on top” behavior. As a result, fullscreen meetings intermittently fail to properly assert z-order, causing the Windows taskbar to appear behind or overlay applications even after exiting Zoom fullscreen. Hi, I purchased zoom phone services couple of days ago. I received email that my account got suspended. They have already charged me the money. I didn’t did any suspicious activity. I tested IVR assigned and unassigned phone couple of time just for the testing. I already sent the appeal. what should I do? 

Running Zoom version Version: 7.0.0 (77593) on MacOS Sonoma. I cannot see things in dark mode but Zoom now defaults to dark mode and setting the mode to light using Settings/General and clicking on the light option does not work.I have verified that I have light setting in both the main zoom desktop and in individual meeting settings and it persists in displaying as Dark mode!How do I get it back to readable/viewable in the comfortable light mode?

After the update, my annotations don’t show correctly. They only show if I’m on the zoom tab. Before, I could open the tab I was sharing and hit the annotate button. Now that doesn’t work. Also, when I share my screen, I can no longer see my student’s video. This only happened after the update. I have been using Zoom for years, but this will greatly effect the efficiency of my tutoring business. I have to continue to switch tabs to zoom in/out and scroll down the page I want to annotate on because the annotation only shows on the zoom tab.

Do you use notes, turn on camera, take short breaks, or something else?Also, how do you avoid distractions when working from home during these calls?Would love to hear what actually works for you guys 🙌

Is it possible to schedule more than three sessions on the same day within a recurring session webinar?Is this limitation specific to the Zoom Webinars Plus product? My use case involves scheduling four sessions on the same day within the same event. 

The Avatar tab is completely missing from both my Zoom app (Background & Effects) and my web account settings. Another account on the same free plan has the Avatar feature available.Please help restore this feature to my account. 

Zoom has started downloading Outlook every time I start a new meeting.  I get a popup every time and have to click NO to sharing confidential information with Microsoft 3 times, and then I have to quit Outlook.  I never installed Outlook.  I have never had Outlook. I don't want Outlook. I have deleted Outlook repeatedly after Zoom re-installed it but Zoom keeps installing it on my computer.  Is there any way to stop Zoom from doing this?

あまり使わないので無料プランに戻したかったので、有効期限の最終日（7月31日）に自動更新を停止、という処理をしました。現在はプロサービス有効日2023.731、自動更新停止されました。次回の請求日2024.731となっています。また保留中のプラン、サービス有効日2024・731となっています。請求については未払い請求なし、請求日2023.7.31、回収済みとなっています。金額は年払いでホワイトボードの分も入っています。いつ申し込んだのかわかりませんが、（こちらも自動更新は停止にしています）。自分の現在のプランは、無料プランなのかなと思ってみたのですが、自分の現在のプランはビジネスプロの表示です。これはまた一年継続しているということでしょうか？2024．731まで。プロの契約でしょうか。もし一年契約を月契約にして残りの月の分は月割りで返金されたりするのでしょうか。ホワイトボードについても使ったこともなくどうしてセットされたか。。どう解除するかわかりません。質問が多くてすいませんが、分かる箇所だけでもお答えいただけたら幸いです。

自社のZoom Rooms運用において、外部組織（取引先等）との連携について質問させてください。【背景・目的】 特定の他社（外部組織）が所有するZoom Roomsと頻繁に会議を行うため、自社のZoom Roomsコントローラーやクライアントの「連絡先」に、相手方のZoom Roomsを登録し、ワンタップで呼び出せるようにしたいと考えています。【現在の認識と課題】 自組織内のZoom Roomsであれば連絡先に表示されますが、外部組織のZoom Rooms（会議室アカウント）をメールアドレスで検索しても「連絡先に追加」が出てきません。 Zoomの仕様上、外部のZoom Roomsを直接連絡先にストックすることは不可能という認識で相違ないでしょうか。 【検討している代替案】 相手の担当者（個人アカウント）を連絡先に登録し、その都度ミーティングに招待する。 共有チャネルを作成し、そこに相手担当者を招待して会議URLを常設する。 【質問】 上記以外に、外部組織のZoom Roomsをあたかも「連絡先」にあるかのように、スムーズに呼び出す（あるいはディレクトリに表示させる）運用上の工夫や設定をご存知の方がいれば、ご教示いただけますでしょうか。何卒よろしくお願いいたします。

We conducted a meeting and the next day was sent an email from webinartv.us that our "webinar video" was available on their website. We did not agree to this and it seems that they had a fake person register and then recorded our meeting to be posted on their website. The only person that was on the registration that was not engaging and stayed on even when the meeting was over was named Jordan Spencer and had an email ending in lightconnect.space Alerting zoom about this and others.
