My video freezes when I try to make a virtual background change in a meeting in ZOOM.When I select NONE my video comes back. I am using Ubuntu 20.04 OS. I have friends using ubuntu but don't have that problem.When I was using windows I hadn't that problem.To fix the problem: 1. I joined a meeting from my mobile phone. I was able to change the virtual background from my mobile phone.. 2. I checked the Settings>meetings section in the Zoom administrator settings. "virtual background" button was on. 3. Zoom app is up to date.4. I watched a lot of videos on youtube and applied but the result was same.

I suspect my account was probably made before I was 16 years old. I likely didn't know about the minimum age, but also likely wouldn't have cared at the time.But now, I care about being honest in these things and apologize for the violation. I am above the minimum age now, but I want to know if there's anything I'm supposed to do about past violations.Thanks.

Hi Zoom Community,Wondering if anyone else is running into this glitch.Today (06.09.25), I noticed that my chat options changed unexpectedly during a Zoom session. Behind the scenes, all of my meeting settings allow participants to chat publicly and privately (host only, everyone, and individual participants). However, as soon as someone else joined my meeting, the private chat options disappeared. The only option available was to chat with everyone.I double-checked my Zoom settings—everything is enabled to allow full chat functionality. To troubleshoot, I set up a test session and had someone join. As soon as they entered the room, the same thing happened: chat instantly defaulted to “Everyone” only, and all private chat options were removed.Private messaging is a key part of how I facilitate training sessions, so this is a major disruption.Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Would love to know if there’s a fix or if this is a known bug.Thanks in advance,Lenore

Hello everyone   English is not my native language but I will try to explain.   I use to record videos where I am the only person talking, sometimes sharing screen, sometimes only taliking without sharing screen or document.   I tried today to record a video like that and when the recording finished, and I open de the MP4 file in my local drive to check it, video is not including audio¡¡¡    I tried several times with sharing screen and without sharing screen and all of them is the same, no audio only video.   I uninstalled software and installed again, and tried as well several times only talking  and others sharing screen and it is the same.   I don't know what to do, hopefully somebody can help me to fix it.    Thanks in advance

I’m trying to add other licensed users as Alternative Hosts when scheduling meetings, but I keep receiving this message: “One or more people you want to add as alternative hosts are not licensed users or are not members of this account. Remove the following users to continue:Unable to assign "email@samecompany" as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time”  I have verified that the other party is licensed and we all work at the same organization together. Has anyone else experienced this issue and have a solution?

Hi,   I accidentally canceled my Zoom pro account and I want to reactivate it. I tried calling billing but am not getting through. I was already charged an annual fee for this year so I just want to use my subscription.    Any advice would be helpful.

My profile has my correct name but each time I join a weekly meeting it shows the first names of myself and my partner, probably created years ago for a one time social event.  I "rename" it every week and choose "remember" yet every single week it defaults back to these two names.Please help!!

Hello,I'm experiencing a recurring issue with my Zoom display name.In my Zoom profile, my full name is correctly set to damien( ...Full first name and name). However, every time I join a meeting, my display name shows up as "damie".I’ve already tried the following:Verified that my Zoom profile (on the web) shows the correct full name.Checked the settings in the Zoom desktop app.Despite this, Zoom continues to display "damie" by default when I join new meetings.I'm using a free Zoom account, so I don't have access to direct support.Does anyone know how I can fix this so that my correct full name appears automatically in all meetings?Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi,I have an upcoming Webinar event where translations are needed in 15 Indian languages. I realized that Indian languages can be added only as Custom Languages and there is a limit of 5 in this category. Can anyone advise on how I can have translations availed for 15 Indian languages?

I have 150 Polycom E220 phones that are used as "Common Area Phones".  I would like to add a speed dial to all of them for the IT Helpdesk.  I can import the lines for a single device, but I haven't been able to locate a way to import a speed dial to multiple devices.  (The templates don't seem to fit this use case)Any help would be appreciated (even if it's I need to stop looking and do them 1 by 1)Thanks!

Hi, Struggling to find an option that lets me email people with a scheduled zoom link, allowing them to add an .ics or add to calendar link. The pages and instructions I've followed don't seem to give current advice.Such as: Enabling webinar email ICS calendar attachments (zoom.com)But there is no .ics option in any of my settings... Looking at previous options that suggest scheduling it as a recurring event hasn't proved successful for me either.Any help appreciated, thanks.

Tell me the error status is 0xc0000005.Can anyone inform me of the possible causes of this error? 

I am having serious problem with the resolutions of my recordings. I am recording to my computer using a Brio 4K webcam, setting is to HD, but despite my 4K cam the result is less than 720p. This started 3 weeks ago and I am not able to mitigate the issue despite spending hours on the app as well as searching everywhere including this community platform. Unfortunately I am considering walking from Workspace Pro and use a cheaper option and invest in other programs.
