Normally I can run a webinar and record using QuickTime in high-resolution. Today, I could not do that when the Zoom Webinar was active but I could record with QuickTime when the webinar was not active. Does any one have any solutions to this? I'm looking to record the webinar, record the same webinar via quicktime without the slides that way I can edit a nice video together using both. Let me know.
I am the first person in the call queue and when I answer an incoming call using my mobile device, the switch icon appears at the top of my desktop Zoom app. If nothing is selected, it will automatically switch from my mobile device to the desktop app without me doing anything. I have reached out to Zoom and they are suggesting that I turn off my desktop application for phones but I never had this issue until I switched from a Galaxy to an iPhone. We just recently added a Zoom Room to our account and thought that maybe it was detecting the Zoom Room so i can switch to that but calls I have answered while at home still have the switch icon at the top. Has anyone else experienced this issue? What am I missing?
I cannot work out why this is happening. I have updated profile to ensure has correct first and last name and yet once in a zoom session I cannot edit my name and its appearing as Surname, first . Help with this please .....
I have a PRO licence, and I have checked that I want my meeting recordings in HD quality. But Zoom keeps compressing the living faeces out of my recordings. I have plenty of harddrive, and I record my meetings locally, but a recording that ought to weight around 3-4 GB is compressed into 600MB and it looks like faeces. There are strange artifacts everywhere, and black areas tend to become glimps of red. I need it to be high quality, and would definitely prefer no compression at all over this. So my question is: Are there any way that I can entirely disable the video compression? 😞
Hi,Anyone know how to create an audio & visual release form that people can agree to prior to pressing the JOIN button on zoom. I have experienced this prior to joining a zoom call and I would like to create it. Any suggestiongs? Thanks!
Today a random person joins to my meeting without my permission and I want to prevent this to happen again. How can I do that? Thanks for the help
Today, I received a notice that I reached my three whiteboard session limit. I have a Pro account, and I have never seen this before. Has Zoom recently changed its pricing structure to limit whiteboard usage?
I was on a call with my therapist just now and I could hear a male voice talking, although there was no one else on the zoom call with us. It sounded as if he was talking to someone else (like he was on another call) and couldn't hear us. This lasted for about 15 minutes, while I closed all other taps and apps on my computer, thinking it could be a video playing or another programme running in the background. The voice continued intermittently, and eventually we ended the call and continued on another platform. Very freaky! How did this happen, and are there any settings I should be using to prevent this?
I've got two issues with freezes under zoom. Both started happening after I added a webcam to my system. Before I'd join the meeting with my iPad (for the camera) and my desktop (for screen sharing). Now with the web cam: 1. Randomly, my wireless mouse stops working. I need to unplug and plug in the receiver to get the mouse working again. 2. If I try to screen share, the zoom app freezes up and I need to force quit and rejoin the meeting. I'm running Zoom client Version: 5.9.3 (1911) under Linux/debian. Any suggestions?
Hi,Yesterday a colleague of mine ran a zoom meeting for which we cannot find the recording. I sent the invite for the meeting so the Zoom link was coming from my account but I only briefly joined the session (just to allow the recording of it).At that point, the host appeared to be the room from where my colleague was presenting it. Neither of us can find the recording of the meeting in their Zoom account. Can you please help?

Hi I have one meeting recorded on my computer was in wired ratio, 1920x2560, which makes the side-by-side view very tiny to watch. The recording I made on the day before or after that all had no issue at all. Seems just this meeting got this problem. Any idea what the reason of this? I didn't find any settings to change the horizontal or vertical. Thanks
I found a solution after extensive trials. 1) Create a filter in Gmail - @zoom.US2) Set to delete all3) Tell you real clients to send all invites to whatsapp3) Stop using zoom untill the provide a fix>I get invites all the time from @outlook. and they change it for every webinar. I have unsubscribed 100's of times but they keep on coming. Zoom has no solution or does not care. So this is my final fix. Cheers
Every time we schedule a webinar, we set the time zone as Mountain Time US & Canada. However, the signup page for our webinars always say "Edmonton" for the location. This is causing confusion for a lot of people, because we do hybrid events where the in-person component takes place in Calgary, but the sign up page is wrongfully telling them the event is in Edmonton! Please provide some way of correcting this. There honestly should just be one choice that says "Mountain Time US & Canada". The "Edmonton" time zone is doing nothing but causing confusion and headaches.
I use BT headphones for audio output and a webcam with a mic as my audio / video input (the webcam mic seems to perform better than the headset mic in the BT headphones).Recently (within the past couple months?), when turning on my camera in a meeting, the audio cuts out for about 5 seconds before coming back. Zoom warns me of low volume and there is silence in the headphones during this time. This did not used to occur.Aside from missing what's going on in the meeting, this is particularly problematic because going on camera is generally a signal that I'm present and engaged in the meeting, which means it's more likely that people will address me and expect a response, but I appear to be not paying attention. Since this used to work, it seems like something may have regressed in the Zoom app. OS: Windows 11Zoom Version: 6.2.3 (47507)Headphones: Sony WH-1000XM4Webcam: Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920
For a recurring meeting, I am the meeting host and I have an alternative host. For today's meeting, I was unable to join, so my alternative host lead the meeting. They recorded and clicked on the "Start Summary" button. After the meeting, I received the recording via email, but I have not received the "Meeting Summary with AI Companion" email (I checked my settings and the summary is set to only send it to me). The summary is not showing up in my list of Meeting Summaries on my Zoom web portal either. Where can I find the Meeting Summary if it's not emailed or in my Meeting Summaries list? Does "Meeting Summary with AI Companion" only work if the meeting host starts it (vs. an alternative host)?
I have a fairly new laptop running Windows 11. When I join my live choir rehearsals on Zoom I can hear the leader's voice OK but the music is very distorted. Can anyone advise me on what settings I might need to change to resolve this problem please?
I love the companion feature and use it often with most of the meetings. Before the update, I was able to pause it during meetings when private or irrelevant information was being discussed and start it once we arrived at the intention for the call. Please bring that option back. It made such a difference to have the option to "filter" out the personal from the business. Thank you
I would like to package and deploy the Zoom Workplace Client via SCCM, however my experience has been that it closes the Zoom client. Is there a way to upgrade the Workplace Client via an SCCM package that doesn't close the client? Here is my install:msiexec.exe /i ZoomInstallerFull.msi zRecommend="AU2_EnableAutoUpdate=true;AU2_SetUpdateChannel=0;AU2_InstallAtIdleTime=true" /qn /norestart /L*V "C:\Logs\ZoomInstall.log" MSIRESTARTMANAGERCONTROL="Disable"
I am concerned that a video I shared with a group was then shared by a member of that group and shouldn't have been. My question is...if I delete that video from my library, would it also delete the video for anyone who may have downloaded that video? Or would it be pointless? Thank you!
My microphone won't pick up the sound my drum or rattles - tried ChatGPT fixes still doesn't work -turned off the background noise suppression and all the other recommendations but still no joy - any further suggestions?
The recent update on May 19 completely took away the ability to choose which external calendar to export meetings to. I'm signed into Zoom through Gmail since Zoom doesn't support personal Outlook accounts (I no longer have an organization account), but my familiarity is with Outlook calendar and everyone I'm still working with is using Outlook calendar, which makes it easier for me to just create a Zoom meeting, select the Other calendars > Outlook option, and then use that to send the invite through my 'personal' Outlook account. But the recent update removed that feature and now forces me to ONLY use Google Calendar. I DO NOT WANT TO BE SENDING MY MEETING INVITES THROUGH MY GMAIL ACCOUNT, because it's strictly personal--the Outlook account is "personal" but is really my work account, I just do not have an organizational account anymore. This is the most bizarre "update" ever. I can't just create a new account on Zoom to integrate with my Outlook account be
Hello, I have read about a similar error with many other users historically and some that are in different situations than myself. I have an individual business license for Zoom (and am the administrator of my account) but am missing the recording (and whiteboard) buttons. I have tried a few troubleshooting steps so far. For the purposes of this discussion, I am talking only about local (not cloud) recordings. 1. I've checked the storage location for local recording storage (and the folder exists).2. Under the web profile settings, record to computer files is enabled.3. If I turn on automatic recordings (which I don't want to happen all the time), recording does start. This doesn't add the recording or whiteboard buttons.4. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the application, without success. Does anyone have any other ideas or steps I can take to troubleshoot this? It is frustrating. Thank you.
Trying to follow these instructions but it's not working. When I perform step 6 "click Review" no list comes up for approval. I often am in zoom meetings with 10-75 people. When I am in the gallery view, I would like to easily and quickly organize the order of the video participants according to various options, such as: 1. Alphabetical organization by first name (A-Z)2. Alphabetical organization by first name (Z-A)3. As a sub-option, put all muted (either video OR audio) participants (in alphabetical order as requested in 1 or 2 above) either AFTER all the "regular" (audio and video on) participants OR put them in alphabetical order mixed in with the regular participants. This new feature(s) would be very helpful to me and to many teachers who use zoom to lead group discussions!!
