Hey all, I teach one-on-one through Zoom, and I use Calendly to allow students to schedule times with me. I frequently run into the message "This meeting is scheduled for" and some date and time in the past. I gather this is because the Calendly event synced to Zoom and made an event, which I then made recurring through Google Cal. This would make the event recurring in Google Cal, but not in Zoom, so Zoom thinks the event is in the past.According to this article (https://teamdynamix.umich.edu/TDClient/30/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=5624) I should simply find the meeting in my Previous Meetings list and make it recurring there, but none of my Calendly events appear in my Previous Meetings. Any advice?
I am the only user on my Zoom account, and my role is owner. The account has no admin, and I unable to add myself as an admin. This is preventing me from using some features that require admin approval. Do I have to add another user in order to make myself admin? Is there no alternative solution?

I feel like I am about to lose my mind! I am with a very small nonprofit, just two employees. We were with Grasshopper for the past 5 years and I loved it, but the boss wants to save money. So we ported the number and purchased one license and a metered plan. I just need to figure out how to receive calls on the mobile app and absolutely cannot figure it out. I feel like every video is targeted at larger organizations with multiple lines. I have spent the past three days searching forums and YouTube videos and I cannot seem to find out how to get the phone number to ring! I can at least make outgoing calls and receive voicemail, but I cannot receive incoming calls yet. Please help if you can!
When looking in the setting in the web portal, "Non-verbal feedback" is missing. I've disabled reactions, and when doing so it says it will affect the non-verbal feedback setting, but it still doesn't disable non-verbal feedback. Disabling reactions disables all the emoji reactions, but it still doesn't get rid of the yes/no/slow down/speed up reactions. Apparently that's controlled by the non-verbal feedback setting, but I can't find it. When looking at the source code for the settings page, I find a block of JSON with all the settings, and it has this:{"featureId":"nonverbalfeedback","value":true, ... showing that non-verbal feedback is enabled, even though reactions are disabled and locked at the account level:{"featureId":"meetingReactions","value":false,"overrides":false,"locked":{"value":true,"level":"account", ...
My latest meeting did not fully record/convert. I confirm that throughout the duration of the meeting the “Recording…” notification was on and there was an alert at the start of the meeting to inform participants. However, once the meeting ended and the file was converted there is less than 1 second recorded 🚨😞 I have successfully recorded a lot of meetings in the past and all the necessary steps were followed. @bstrelko @Bort @jeremyjustin @Humashankar I am honestly begging for help to try and recover this. Please let me know if this is possible!
My company is currently switching from RingCentral to Zoom Phone. I was informed by Zoom that I could pre-assign our RingCentral numbers prior to porting them over to Zoom. I would like to do this so we do not experience any down time. However, Zoom has not been able to tell me how to do this. Do I need to initiate the port of all our numbers and during the process I will be able to pre-assign? Or can I pre-assign prior to initiating the porting process? Any help would be appreciated.
Is there a way from transferring historic meetings from one Zoom account to a New Zoom account, and if so what is the procedure for moving them.
THERE IS NO BOARD OPTION FOR "DESIGN" There is an annoying and distracting red dot next to my "HOME" button on the left of my page. WHY???I open the home page, thinking it's trying to alert me to that page, but nothing of importance shows there. SO, this annoying red dog keeps distracting me from actually working. HOW CAN ONE CONTACT AN ACTUAL HUMAN AT ZOOM TO ADDRESS THIS???
Hi I just set up a zoom phone and am new to this. Can not receive a phone call. It says the service is restricted or service is not available. But I can make a phone call through the app. What should I do? Thanks
I have a paid Zoom account which has an existing meeting scheduled for March. I'd like to allow a member of our company to manage that meeting, mainly in order to update the polls and to see the list of registrations for that meeting. I've added that individual as an admin on to the Zoom account. However, when they log-in to their account, they don't see the existing meeting that I've scheduled. As a result, they aren't able to see the registrations for that meeting or edit it in anyway. My question: Is it possible for licensed users on a Zoom account to edit existing meetings? If so, how would that user access the meeting within their account?
On my laptop, when using the text feature of the Zoom whiteboard, the default size of the textbox is rather small. How I change the default size of the text box so it's automatically bigger?
After removing Fathom, my https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5614.... no longer works. (I removed some of the url) I can add my Meeting ID through the desktop app and it works, but the url won't work for me. I have used it a zillion times. I click on Join Meeting and nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi everyone, Can someone share an example for provisioning template for Poly VVX series? I'm just curious of what is it that one would normally want to set via a template in the most general case, nothing like the other posts for custom ring tones or anything like that. Hello, We use a device called "Clickhare" to send our video from our computer to a projector. We have used this with Zoom for the past 2 years with no issues. Starting on Monday, when using this setup, any time that content (word doc, ppt, etc) is shared, this causes the video in Zoom to freeze IF the Clickshare is in use. The clickshare hardware has not changed, nor has the pc that we use. So not sure if Zoom change is causing the video issue. We have made sure that we are on the most current version of Zoom, and the PC has all of the current Windows updates. Any thought on why this new behavior is happening? We have already tried turning off hardware acceleration for incoming video, but that didn't help .
On the newest version of Zoom for iOS from April 25th, 2024, while sharing a URL or a PDF file through Safari or Google Drive, the video in the corner of the screen of my participants or my own video for that matter is no longer visible. Up until now, on all versions of Zoom for iOS from since I started using Zoom in 2020, by default my participants' video would be visible on the bottom right corner of the screen. I'm not sure if this is a bug or is fixable. It is quite inconvenient.
i have my EDU account that have zoom licenced with SSO but before this licenced version i create zoom basic account and then type a zoom username that is displayed but now i want to change it . it is locked and gave me error"Edit is disabled because this field is synced from SAML mapping every time the user signs in with SSO".is there is any solution to change that name
I recently added the Outlook plugin so I can organise a meeting directly in my calendar. However, when my link is generated, it always has ?from=addon added to the end of it.It is a pain to have to erase this each time. How do I solve this?ThanksSmita
There are plenty of devices in my home network - tablets, laptops, smartphones - all of them are able to connect to zoom without a problem. As expected.But I have one device, and old iMac, that can't connect to zoom.us. The issue is with the zoom app, and with every browser I'm trying. The browser shows a timeout error.I've tried to look of there's a firewall, a faulty hosts file on the computer, or even an issue with the router, but couldn't find anything.I've tried uninstalling the zoom app, using the uninstall procedure, but that didn't help either.I can't find any similar issues online.I'm kinda lost for solutions here.Can someone help me please?
I have a laptop with a resolution of 3840x2160. Scaling is set to 200. Zoom does not display properly unless the scaling is set to 100. Of course, this makes the menu bar on the bottom of the screen unreadable. I've tried setting scaling properties for the app with little success. It did work for a while, but a zoom update broke it.
OS: Window 10 I currently use window's volume mixer that allows different applications to have different volumes. Zoom currently starts at 100% volume. Changing the volume now does not seem to change the starting volume of the next use. Every solution I have seen online says to adjust the speaker volume in the audio settings, but that just changes the computer's speaker volume which also affect the volume of other applications. Is there a way to change the starting volume without having to affect the volume of other applications.

IS THERE A FUNCTION THAT I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THAT WILL ROLL MY SCRIPT ALONG THE TOP OF MY SCREEN? TIPS ON HOW TO LOOK LIKE I AM LOOKING AT PARTICAPNTS, i.e. tips on exactly where to look on my laptop qould be GREATLY appreciated!

Whenever I am talking on my iPhone w/BlueTooth using the Zoom App about a minute into the call I can hear the person that I talking to but they can no longer hear me. Is anyone else having that problem? Does anyone have a legit solution to this major problem?
