I already have a hand-raised app which stops people from disrupting meetings and webinars with constantly raising and lowering their hands. After seeing a number of people posting about hand-raising situations, I will be looking to extend the app or create a new one to provide more support around hand-raising.Ideas so far.Track people who hand-raised into a list Manage hand-raising Counting those who have raised hands and maybe yes/no too.Would love some feedback and use case ideas.I will push for Zoom to make these part of the core product, but I can do quite a lot building another workplace app.On the privacy side, we would only know users' screen names, not their personal information. Could we add and display a timestamp showing when each attendee raises their hand in a Zoom for Government webinar. This would help City Clerk staff manage public comment requests in the order received and provide greater transparency during public meetings. Ideally, the timestamp would be visible to hosts and co-hosts and included in webinar reports for audit purposes.
We’re using Zoom Scheduler’s Managed Schedules feature to create a common event for several different users. Zoom documentation says that after assigning the Managed Schedule to hosts, assigned hosts won’t be able to edit the details of the event. However, we’re seeing that assigned hosts can edit anything they want to. None of the assigned hosts are account admins. Am I missing a setting somewhere?I’m also noticing that changes to the Managed Schedule do not propagate to assigned hosts, unless we un-assign and reassign those hosts.
Just received a new email with latest spam technique - “Clips - XYZ Company shared a clip with you”This time there is even no unsubscribe link in the email so they can keep spamming indefinitely.Prediction - this will become a real nuisance unless you’re willing to block no-reply@zoom.us (which would kill all legit webinar emails as well).
As a participant in a meeting when a slide/document presentation is being shared, I have access to a helpful tool that none of the rest of my team does.During a meeting when a co-host shares their screen, I can get a small tool bar to pop-up that has within it two tiny magnifying glasses (one with “+”, one with “-“ inside) and a number with a percent (indicating the percentage of magnification for the shared screen).I can move my mouse cursor to a margin of the slide, or to the outer edge of my computer screen, or to the inside of the shared screen image to get the little tool bar to appear, but that isn’t consistent. I find it extremely helpful in meetings to engage this, and wanted to get precise instructions on the process—but no one else has used this or has even heard of it.Is this feature a Zoom tool? I use a Mac and a mouse. Please advise.

I am a voice actor with an in home studio. I have used zoom for over 2 years for video meeting and such with no sound issues at all. All of a sudden about a month ago, I've started having crackling audio coming through when in zoom meetings. It only happens through zoom, all other audio sounds perfect. I'm on 64 bit Windows 10 using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling zoom as well as my audio drivers and the drivers for the interface. Any ideas on what might be causing it and how to fix? Thank you!
Have had this issue a few times in the past. Today, about 30 people received meeting invites to meetings we had in January and February. I had to delete and reinstall my Outlook, but not sure if that was related. Also opened a meeting and manually invited team members to the meeting. Only thing I can find on the issue is that the Outlook exchange views it as a recurring meeting and must have thought it was updated. Anyone know how to make it so the meetings won't update and resend invitations after the fact? Thanks!
once I try to install zoom from rpm on my current fedora (44) workstation, I get an error:Failed to read package header from file "zoom_x86_64.rpm"It is possible to workaround using commands such as sudo rpm -Uvh --nosignature --nodigest /(...path...)/zoom_7.1.0.3715_x86_64.rpmbut it looks like there is some problem with the packages. it first appeared on zoom 7.0.5 rpm (previous linux version).Claude claims the problem may be related to rpm 6.0 installed on fedora, meaning zoom packages the zoom app using an obselete rpm protocol (rpm v3), I doubt it since it looks like rpm 6 has been around for a while - but problems appeard only last month.thank you
Hello, I only use my Zoom account for Zoom phone (Zoom phone unlimited calls account), and would like to stop paying the monthly fee for Zoom workplace pro. Can I delete my Zoom Workplace Pro plan (go to basic/free) but still retain my Zoom phone unlimited calling plan? or must I retain the workplace pro plan to in order to access Zoom phone? If the former, how do I cancel my zoom workplace pro subscription? I have tried but the usual methods aren’t an option I am seeing. Thank you

I am trying to attend a Zoom meeting using my web browser, Librewolf. This web browser is very similar to Firefox. So, whatever troubleshooting steps are available for Firefox should work here.I am able to join the meeting and see the other person in the meeting. But, after a few seconds, I get this messageSomething went wrong. Please close your browser try again. When I tried again, the same thing happened.
Selecting a tier 1 disposition used to expand the category and let us choose the second tier. Now, we have to select the > icon next to the disposition to expand it otherwise it won’t select a disposition. What changed over the weekend? There used to be the ability to click the tier 1 disposition and expand now selecting the disposition does nothing. Can we change this back to the old way at all? We need a solution to revert back to the original format.
google meet offers a feature where you can scroll back through captions if you missed part of the conversation. zoom should add a similar feature. if you agree, please upvote for visibility to the feature request team, thank you!

Its happened three times already that when I add or delete someone from an event, it replaces my event text. I get the message "The event description will be replaced with the Zoom default invitation." This has been really frustrating as a I have to quickly edit it back to what I originally wrote and it resends to everyone. I've been making the changes through outlook/the zoom plugin. Anyone have any solutions? Can't seem to find any.
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I wonder if anyone, particularly someone from Zoom, can speak to the issue of the overwhelming amount of webinar spam that's going out. It seems that some email addresses have been handed out to different marketers, and those marketers are regularly signing up people to Zoom conferences that they haven't asked for. Because of the way my system is set up, when I get a meeting request, it goes on to my calendar, and then I have to deal with it. Sometimes, I just get an email saying that the webinar is starting, and it's all junk. I've requested several times to have my name removed from the list. I don't want to be removed from all webinars because I do have to attend them as part of my work, but I'm absolutely fed up with the amount of webinar spam that I'm getting through Zoom. I think it's not just bad for the companies that are producing this spam but it's also bad for Zoom as a brand.
I teach internationally and my student share their screen when they get stuck editing…. I believe you can see multiple shared screens but then you lose the ability to control their screen if they’re really stuck. Anybody out heir have a similar issue or advise?
I’m very new to Zoom so apologies if I’m asking a dumb newbie question…I’m running the Zoom app on Windows and it’s working fine. Let’s say I join a meeting with 4 participants. At the top of my meeting view I see 4 x small windows, one for each participant. And just below it there’s a larger view showing whoever’s currently speaking. Is there any way I can invert that view? i.e. have the large window at the top with the 4 smaller windows below it?
How do I send a broadcast message to breakout rooms
Cloud recording audio and video start at 00:00, but the Zoom-generated transcript starts at 51:00. There is only one recording file set, and re-downloading the transcript does not fix it.
My guitar teacher and I have tried using Zoom for guitar lessons but there is a significant delay in audio during our meetings. Occasionally, there is a loud prolonged noise that sounds like white noise, static or a train passing by. It is so loud that it drowns out everything else and nothing else can be heard. The audio delay is a constant problem and the loud white noise static is a frequent problem. How do I eliminate these issues? Thank you.
This is for the Zoom 5.13.11 app on Windows 10 Enterprise, when using the "Schedule Meeting" feature. I need to add a long list of invitee emails. Through trial and error I was able to figure out I could only enter 1 bare email address at a time, then hit space to convert it into an object, limited to no more than 64 characters per email address. There is no pop-up suggestion to guide the user on adding even the first email address, and I did not find any guidance in the docs nor here (so far). The field does not accept email standard list entries like "User Name <email address>", nor does it accept a comma-separated recipient list that might be copied from the recipients of an email application, which would seem like a sensible option. The one workaround I found was that I could paste a list of semi-colon-separated email addresses so long as no single pasted block exceeded 64 characters. Thankfully in vim I can quickly convert commas to semi-colons and break up the list
Our team uses shared call queues and voicemail queues in Zoom Phone, and we're curious how other organizations handle tracking voicemail ownership and callback activity.Ideally, we'd like the ability for a queue member to:Mark a voicemail as completed/resolved after returning a call. Add wrap-up notes or call outcomes that are visible to all queue members. Provide visibility into who handled the voicemail to avoid duplicate callbacks. We've tried using tasks and team chat as workarounds. While they help, they require additional manual steps and don't provide a centralized view for everyone in the queue. Task visibility can also be limited depending on who is involved.Has anyone found a more efficient workflow for managing this in Zoom Phone? If these capabilities aren't currently available, we'd love to see them considered as future enhancements to improve collaboration and queue management.
