Old meeting invites being sent out again

Have had this issue a few times in the past.  Today, about 30 people received meeting invites to meetings we had in January and February. I had to delete and reinstall my Outlook, but not sure if that was related. Also opened a meeting and manually invited team members to the meeting. Only thing I can find on the issue is that the Outlook exchange views it as a recurring meeting and must have thought it was updated. Anyone know how to make it so the meetings won't update and resend invitations after the fact?

Thanks!

Was a solution ever found for this? Having similar issues. We initially thought it may be Outlook related so we went ahead and performed a complete uninstall/re-install but that didn't seem to fix the issue as issue would return. Issue is intermittent and affects different meetings but all have been past Zoom meetings.

Has this issue been resolved at all?

I have just experienced this problem but looking at this thread, it has been going on for sometime and there is no solution.

I'm having the same problem. I'm using a Mac, and do not have Outlook installed, so it's obviously not an Outlook issue. I've deleted Zoom from the machine and am still getting the old invites. As are some of the other invitees, which is embarrassing.

Is there a fix for this issue?  Mine is doing the same as mentioned.

I just had this issue as well, sending out invites from June. I reset my password and hopefully that will take care of it.

We just experienced the same problem FOUR YEARS LATER! Despite paying for our service, Zoom refused to connect us to phone technical support. They would not even authorize a one-time exception for a problem that ZOOM CREATED. We were BOMBARDED with emails from our confused clients. Absolutely mortifying, and it took up half of our day to sort out. After having to try and troubleshoot the problem with Zoom’s worthless AI and its live messaging support, they concluded that we needed to speak with phone technical support. IMAGINE THAT? I am absolutely disgusted by Zoom’s absolutely disgraceful and pitiful customer service.

Save yourselves money. Dich Zoom, sign up with a different service. Zoom will do no nothing to help you and they will purposefully burry and ignore this glaring problem.

Zoom is still pretending like this is not their problem. We already have bidirectional synch enabled. This problem likely has NOTHING to do with Microsoft 365 or any other calendaring service.

Zoom did not bother to give us a call back after Zoom escalated this to a call and promised a call back. This is completely worthless customer service, and a total failure to attempt to fix a known issue. Zoom has chosen to simply screw over its customers and relegate them to messaging an AI instead of trying to fix a problem. God forbid they should even try to give you a call to talk through the problem. Instead, their solution is for everyone in my office to start deleting old calendar events from a year ago.

Zoom, you have to fix this, and you have to stop treating your paying clients like crap. Otherwise, you will become Skype and everyone with sense and money will move on to alternatives that provide more reliable services and better customer service.
