Participant Magnify-Demagnify-Percent Magnification Tool

As a participant in a meeting when a slide/document presentation is being shared, I have access to a helpful tool that none of the rest of my team does.

During a meeting when a co-host shares their screen, I can get a small tool bar to pop-up that has within it two tiny magnifying glasses (one with “+”, one with “-“ inside) and a number with a percent (indicating the percentage of magnification for the shared screen).

I can move my mouse cursor to a margin of the slide, or to the outer edge of my computer screen, or to the inside of the shared screen image to get the little tool bar to appear, but that isn’t consistent.  I find it extremely helpful in meetings to engage this, and wanted to get precise instructions on the process—but no one else has used this or has even heard of it.

Is this feature a Zoom tool? I use a Mac and a mouse. Please advise.

Thanks, John. Is it the Magic Mouse, or some other Mac feature?
I’d like to be able to explain it better to help folks use it.
