A new problem seems to have come up, possibly due to installing Zoom update 6.6.10 on Windows 11. When clicking a URL meeting link, Zoom says I need the Zoom app, and offers to download the app instead of joining the meeting. I click the download link it shows and it downloads a small Zoom opener. I run that and then it joins the meeting. A session on the Zoom chatbot help said to uninstall and reinstall Zoom. That worked, though I had to reinitialize both Firefox and Edge to accept URL links to Zoom. After I installed update 6.6.11, the problem came back. This time I simply downloaded and ran the full installer, which solved the problem. After several years of updating Zoom nothing like this ever happened before.
Zoom cannot leave well enough alone. I have been a zoom user and subscriber since their first year in service. I used to find it very user friendly and functional. Now I believe it has deteriorated into a total bag of turds. The UI is total garbage. I should not have to struggle to access basic functions and services. I should not have to waste time on a new tutorial every time some tech idiot decides they have a good idea that destroys the ease of use. Zoom has become a typical "griftopia" American business that does not care about individual users and only cares about large corporate subscribers.
I know Zoom is very excited about the addition of the Zoom Workplace. But I don't use it, and don't want it on my screen. Now, every time I start a new Zoom meeting, the Workplace window also starts up/displays.Don't want that, and don't want to have to click the red-dot close window button every time.Is there a Setting that permanently disables the appearance of the Zoom Workplace window on my meeting startup?
Zoom backgrounds can't be turned off even when turned off. why is the background blue all the time? Is this a programming mistake? How do I turn off the background so I can see my background?
Why am I getting error code -1 when trying to save a scheduled meeting?
Has anyone successfully set up a Zoom-Workday integration for scheduling interviews? We need some guidance!
What happens to local recording if a host changes during the meeting? For example, one host starts the meeting and starts recording, then they need to leave so the alternate host takes over. Will the recording be saved to the alt host's local or the original host? Will it be a complete recording of the whole meeting if the original host leaves the Zoom meeting?
We have jus transitioned our organization, some 200 phones to Zoom Phone, now none of the inbound calls are showing Caller ID just the number, This was working fine on our previous provider then once the numbers we ported and we began on Zoom Phone it quit across all apps ... is this a setting?Thank you We found the issue we added a line into a provisioning template:account.1.cid_source = 0account.2.cid_source = 0Fixed the issue.,
Our zoom phones are down, is there an outage in Sydney today?
Is there a way in Zoom Phone to route calls automatically by caller phone number to go directly to an intercom? This would be useful for when our vendors call us.
Has anyone attempted to integrate the Avigilon cloud managed video reader into your zoom environment? Calling and DTMF trigger to unlock doors works fine, but I'd like to share video via the Zoom desktop client.
Dial pad never shows up when i go into Zoom Phone, how do i get it to appear?
日本でZoom PhoneのオンラインFAXサービスは提供されてるのかな?
Hei, when I am sharing the content, how can I disable the notification of the waiting room? (attached image)
Cloud recording is on, a transcript has been created - I can read it all in the Transcript section. There is 30 mins of detailed text content. It is not still processing. I asked AI Companion to create an summary and it replied (verbatim) "Sorry, I cannot answer your question since this meeting has neither meeting transcript nor meeting summary." Please advise the solution. Without this the AI Comp tool is pretty much useless to me. No error codes provided. Device type - Dell laptop running windows 11. Zoom version: 6.6.6
I am using Zoom Workplace version 6.6.6 on Windows 10 (22H2, x64) with three monitors.Until a few days ago, I was able to share all three monitors simultaneously during meetings. Recently, this stopped working. Now, Zoom only allows me to select any two of the three monitors. When two are selected, the third becomes grayed out and cannot be selected. This occurs consistently. This is on the same computer, same account, and same monitor setup. I have tested this both as the meeting host and as a participant, with the same result. The Share Screen settings referenced in older documentation no longer appear in the current Zoom Workplace UI.I have screenshots available and am happy to provide them or demonstrate the issue if needed.
As an Admin, i have been trying to assign scheduling privileges to a new employee so he can schedule meetings on behalf of the CEO, but it shows he can schedule for me and not the CEO. I want to assign him scheduling privileges to be able to schedule for the CEO. Can i do this as an Admin? if yes, how do I do this? Also i've included him as a licensed user in the User management settings. Please i need reply, answers and assistance. this is really important.
I am trying to turn on the meeting summary in AI companion, but on my account settings it says 'locked by admin' i did not have the function to turn it on during the meeting. Zoom help is not helping, can anyone guide me as to why this is?
My camera keeps shutting off by itself. Drivers are all up to date. Connected on my desktop via USB port but not hub. Audio is fine and participants can hear me just no video. I click it back on and after a second or two it shuts off again and won't remain on.
HiIs there a way to have multiple phone nos (Mobile/Work/Home) for a employee in the Address Book but be able to hide public view of the numbers? We want the HR Agents (having access to the queue/Contact Center) to be able to see all the phone numbers/details but not for the numbers to be visible to people outside the Contact Center. Is this possible to be done?Ramki
When I share my screen, the overlapping parts turn black. I want to avoid this. Please tell me how to avoid it. I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad X13. Thank you very much. ----------------Solved.The problem was that the graphics card driver provided by the computer manufacturer was outdated. The problem was solved by applying the latest Intel driver.
I'm running Zoom version 6.4.5 on Windows, and need to be able to view the screenshares of participants in my meetings without them being able to see each others' screens. All my googling leads me to a feature called "All Screens Mode," which is supposed to have a checkbox allowing me to turn on "Allow participants to view shares" - which seems to imply that the default behavior is that participants canNOT view shares. Yet when I open my meetings, that "All Screens Mode" is nowhere to be found, nor is the checkbox, and the default behavior is that all participants can switch between all shared screens via the tabs at the top of the meetings. Has this feature been removed? Is it limited to paid licenses? I meet all of the requirements listed on the support article here. . .
I have recently bought a new laptop for work, which I use exclusively for Zoom calls. The following problem had never occured before now. The new laptop is an Acer Extensa 215-55 with Windows 11 Pro. As soon as I start any meeting in Zoom on this laptop (even if I am alone and silent), any videos/audio recordings I play on the computer get audio distortions. Specifically, when I start the trek, the sound gets choppy, voices come through okay, but any additional sound in the background of the trek, such as laughter, clapping, etc. becomes barely audible, any music in the trek becomes completely inaudible. If I share the screen with the other people in the meeting, they can hear the same quality of audio I do, so barely anything. I need people on the other side of the call to hear these recordings in good quality, music and added sounds included, not to mention I need to hear it myself just as well. Some people I have calls with also don't speak very loudly, so in their case Z
The option to use avatars and filters has disappeared from my desktop client. I checked that they are enabled on my account, and when I host meetings others can use them, just not me! The only options are for virtual backgrounds and studio effects. I did sign in and sign out in the desktop client, and uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom. I have not switched computers (using Windows 11), although I moved a month ago and do have a different internet provider.
Hello, I want to use the spotlight feature and it is not listed for me. I have looked up the directions on Zoom's FAQ but the option is not available for me in the noted ellipsis. Can anyone please let me know why this might be? Do I need a specific package in order to use this feature?
