new white board participant annotation

I've now held various sessions on zoom with the new white board and have not yet found how participants can annotate on the whiteboard. It should be so obvious I'd have thought but can't find any options for permissions etc etc and participants have said there's nothing on their side. They move cursor on white board but that's as far as it goes...any one know how to sort this?

Glad I’m not on my own on this. Frustrating that there’s no means to contact zoom to find out or report issue…

I have the same issue.  As we can't contact Zoom, how are we supposed to find out how to handle this?

It’s poor that it’s so complicated. I’ve made contact but only as my renewal is coming up and there was a means to make contact from that. First reply didn’t work (couldn’t do what the instructions said as check boxes were greyed out). I therefore messaged again and think it’s worked (a participant was able to annotate this morning). Hope it helps..
