Dear Zoom Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue with the Annotation feature during screen sharing. When I use the Annotate tool to draw or write on the shared screen, the other participants in the meeting cannot see my annotations. However, I can see them on my own screen.
I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Ensuring that annotation is enabled.
Sharing the entire screen instead of a specific window.
Checking for updates and ensuring I am using the latest version of Zoom.
Verifying that annotation visibility settings are properly configured.
Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?
Thank you for your assistance.

We have the same issue, one of our users is sharing a PowerPoint Slide show and uses the Zoom annotations but they don't show to other participants.
When I tested it, it did work and other participants could view it. Making me think that it's an issue with their computer. I made sure their Zoom application was up to date.
Also, I did get the user to try sharing the "Entire Screen" and that was fine, but we avoid using that option so that personal information isn't shared accidently.

Thank you for your response.
I updated Zoom, but the result is still the same:
Either annotation is enabled but blue boxes appear,
or, in the secure screen sharing mode, the annotation isn’t visible at all.
What should I do?
I would greatly appreciate your help.
I’ve added a link to a short recording I made.
In the first part, the annotation isn’t visible.
In the second part, the annotation is visible — but with blue boxes.

I have Macbook Air, m4, 32GB. macOS Sequoia 15.5. I'm running Zoom Workplace App Version: 6.5.5 (59968). I have done everything I'm required to do in the online settings to ensure that Annotation is enabled. I'm the Zoom Admin for our organization, I repeat, Annotation is enabled; however, the Annotation icon does not appear and the term Annotation does not appear in any menus of the Zoom Workplace App no matter what action I take. Any ideas?

Experiencing the same situation with my new device. Everything works fine in my old laptop. This is frustrating, I've done everything but nothing works
