Our nonprofit is hosting a webinar on Monday and multiple people on our team cannot figure out how to assign someone to type manual captions. We are a nonprofit for individuals with disabilities so this is vital.

We've followed the steps under "How to start manual captioning" but Host controls in step 3 is not there. The "In Meeting (Advanced)" settings have both manual and automated captioning enabled.. we also tried turning automated captioning off, but Host controls AND Enable manual captioner are nowhere to be found during webinars OR meetings.

Rescheduling webinars - does the link change?

Hi there!

When I reschedule a Zoom webinar for a different time and date, will the link to access the Zoom webinar change as well? If yes, is there an option to prevent this from happening?

Thanks

When I set up a webinar that requires registration, and I go to the list of registrants under Webinars>Manage Attendees, and ask to edit the registrants list, it always used to show up in reverse chronological order, i.e. the MOST recent registration was at the top of screen 1, which is very convenient.

Now, for some reason, it is doing the opposite and showing them with the earliest registrations on the first screen and the most recent ones relegated to the end, which, for a large webinar is many screenfuls away.

I did not knowingly change any setting to reverse the order, and I cannot find any setting related to this. Has the default changed? Can I change it back so that the most recent registrations are on the first screen?

Permanently Change the Host of a Recurring Webinar

We have a recurring webinar, but the host is leaving the company. We need to re-assign the host to a new person. We want to keep the link and ID the same. How can we change the host and retain the rest?

Upon successful registration to a webinar or meeting, Zoom sends a Registration confirmation email to the user with the required details. Can this email be sent as a calendar event that the user can either accept or reject upon receipt?

Currently, to add that event to the calendar, the user has to open the email and then manually add it to their calendar.

Do we have any customization change from email to calendar event in Zoom, which will enable them to drop on the user’s calendar directly?

Zoom webinar breakouts within Events hub

I do not see a possibility to create breakout rooms within Zoom Webinars (Events pay-per-attendee, multi-day event), but do have them in a meeting. Is it not possible at all? or is there a workaround?

Hello,
I'm using Zoom Sessions and I'd like to import my speakers into a session via a CSV file.
I've been doing this for a long time on Zoom Webinar, but here, I can't import my CSV file (which conforms to the downloadable template and is not UTF-8 encoded, as I've seen that this can cause problems). The file contains 5 or 6 names and e-mail addresses and is 320 bytes long... but I get the message “this file exceeds the maximum size limit”.
I'm using Firefox, all my browser extensions are disconnected for the Zoom site and events.zoom.us
I don't understand. Have you ever had this problem, and what's the best way to solve it?

Hi, I'm running a webinar for a voluntary group.  I've bought the package and scheduled a webinar, but cannot figure out how to separate the 10 speakers from the 100 attendees when I send out the Zoom invitation.  It is all very confusing.

Do they get different invitation links?  THanks if anyone can help.

Hello-

In order to add someone as an alternate host to a webinar - does the alternate also need a webinar license? The alternate has a paid business license. Our end users want another person to be able to join the practice session. I am not sure if this is possible without both having webinar licenses.

Dear All,

I would like to ask for clarification regarding the type of Zoom license I should use for the following requirements:

  1. I need to import a list of participants (registration via a Zoom registration form is not possible).
  2. I need to use breakout rooms.

Am I correct in understanding that the Zoom Sessions license would be the most suitable for these needs?

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Kind regards,
Marta
