We hosted a webinar in early January.  About half of those that pre-registered actually attended.  We'd like to  make it available on demand.  We assumed that the original registration link would work based on some research on the web, but it doesn't seem to work that way.  Can someone explain how that works?  Must they re-register again for the on-demand part?   I can't test it as I was  panelist and not a participant.  Thanks for any help.

I know the end user can move the poll from this location, but is there a way for me, as the presenter, to move the poll so it is not directly in the middle for the end user? If I move it now as the presenter, I've confirmed that it still stays in the middle of the screen for the end user. Thanks for any insight.

Resolved! Panelists and Audience questions

We are using zoom for the first time as a webinar solution. We will have several panelists and are wondering if the panelists actually have a view to the questions submitted by the audience or is it up to the host to field and ask live?

Hi All-

I have someone assigned to be an alternative host for a webinar. If he has his settings set to

Record active speaker, gallery view and shared screen separately" (with "Active speaker, Gallery view, and Shared screen"), although he wasn't the creator of the webinar- will it default to those settings or does the creator need to set those settings up?

Hey Zoom Community!

I am desperately trying to achieve higher quality on my webinars. But it says in the "Group HD information" that the support is temporarily unavailable. Is this really the case? Is there any chance I will be able to host my webinars in HD?

I'm scheduled to host an informational session Tuesday.  There are 4 panelists and a host.  I think there may be 50 attendees.   I scheduled this as a Zoom meeting.   But today, I realized that maybe this should have been scheduled as a Webinar.  The invites have already been sent out (as a meeting).  And, even if I was able to change the meeting to a webinar, I don't know how to run a webinar.   Help.  What should I do?

Can I successfully run this as a meeting format?  Is it possible to change this to a webinar format without updating the meeting invite?  And if so, how hard would it be to learn how to do a webinar?  I have less than 48 hours to get this together.

Hello,

I would like to ask for advice that I have a scheduled webinar with registration, and I've already had around 1,000 attendees (with 1,000 specific links to join).

So, what would happen if I edit my scheduled webinar and turn off the registration function. Would my 1,000 registered attendees use those links to join?

A problem here is after having 1,000 attendees signed up, I see it would better if I turn off the registration so every one could join my webinar.

Thank you in advance for any advices.

Regards

Is there any way to save multiple versions of customized templates used for various webinar emails?

I am thinking in particular about Panelist invitations and post webinar follow-ups and such like. I know that I can customize these emails (and do so) at the *account* level, but is there a way to do so at the individual *webinar* level?

For example, if I use the left navigation to go to “Account Management > Webinar Settings” I can see the ‘universal’ email template for inviting a Panelist. I can edit that. But as soon as I edit it and save it, the edited version becomes the ‘new’ universal template that will be used for every single panelist invitation until I either revert/restore it back to the default or edit it again.

I set up multiple webinars, many in recurring series. I invite different panelists to each webinar and/or webinar occurrence and I want to make the invitations more personal than the universal email template. But as soon as I personalize any email for Panelist 1 in Webinar 1, that becomes the new default so that the SAME email goes to any other panelist in any other webinar set up under that account, making the personalization useless.

If I want to personalize an email to Panelist 2 in Webinar 2, I have to delete or edit the “Invite Panelist Email template” I used for Panelist 1 and start all over again. But then THAT one becomes the universal template for all other panel invitations I make until I change/edit it again. And on and on.

I would like to know if it is possible to establish more than one “Invite Panelist Email” template in the account so I could set up multiple versions and use the one that is most appropriate.

The same goes for other email templates, such as the “Reminder Email” or the “Attendees Follow-Up Email” templates, all of which I personalize beyond the default.

Is this possible? I cannot find any way to establish more than one email template at a time for these functions. That seems a HUGE shortcoming for such an otherwise sophisticated piece of software.

Since there is an ability to establish a Webinar Template to be replicated to other webinars, why can't email templates be part of that?

Resolved! All day Zoom Webinar how to pause the webinar for a meal break

I host all day CE zoom webinars for dentists.  How do I pause the webinar during meals and breaks so the attendees can not hear the panelists' discussions during the breaks; as in the practice session that can be done before the webinar starts?
