Hi there,

 

I changed the email adress  in my Zoom profile from A to B. After this was confirmed, i tried to invite A as a panelist to my webinar but this doesn't seem to work. If i click the save button, nothing happens. 

 

Can someone help me out? Do I have to sign out from all devices first to have the B email adress correct registered?

While hosting a webinar when the panelist shares their screen and selects optimize video and share sound it then shows two gray boxes over what is being shared.  How do we fix this?

I would like to ask support people in ZOOM company  if they can insert in reminder email some textbox, where I can explain in Slovak language what people should do. I am sending reminder but people (in Slovakia) don't understand english text. I have a big problem with it.  For example in webinarjam you can put your text in reminder.  Could you do some changes for countries in eastern Europe? Thank in advance for answer. ***********

Registration report for yesterday's webinar is not showing

I'm not able to find the registration report for a webinar that occurred yesterday. I made sure to check the date range and also looked for it via the Webinar ID but still nothing. 

 

The reason why I need the registration report is because it looks like the attendance reports now don't show the registrants who did not attend. 

 

There is a possibility that this information was lost because I had to remove the registration requirement of this webinar in order to allow the panellists to join (panellists having issues receiving invitations from Zoom too). Sorry, it's a mess but if anyone is able to provide some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!

Second licence holder scheduling webinars

Hi,

 

I just ran a 2-hour event on the new Zoom Events platform, one main panel followed by two simultaneous breakouts, all in webinar format. I tested everything couple of times with assigning alternative hosts to the breakouts so I can jump back and forth from one breakout session to the other and keep the breakouts running.

 

However, during the event, when the time came to launch the breakouts simultaneously, both alt hosts started their session on time, however attendees were able to join only one of them. The other session started, speakers began talking but attendees were not able to see the join the breakout session through the "Join" button in the Lobby. 

 

There was nothing I could do to restart the session or anything else. 

 

Here are couple of hypotheses of why that happened: 

1. We kept the main panel running while we opened simultaneously both breakouts which means we ran 3 sessions at the same time. However, all sessions were running with the speakers assigned to them, only attendees were not able to join one of them. 

2. I let both breakouts to be launched after the practice session by the alternative hosts, and not by me, the main host

3. Technical glitch. Although this format was tried and tested and it worked 

 

How we tried to mitigate it and what we did before the event to prepare: 

1. We did multiple dry runs testing all the functions we wanted to use prior to the event, including with mock up attendees, and real hosts and panelists 

2. We tried to create a new session and get everyone from the faulty breakout to join it, however we abandoned this idea and we went back to the main panel session and continued there

3. We tried looking for real time support channels, but such are non-existent, therefore we were not able to access problem-solver instantly 

 

Please share your thoughts, as I have not experienced such a thing before, thank you in advance!

We usually pre-record our webinars, stream the content to the audience so that it looks live and then have a written Q&A going on throughout the presentation. Presenters videos are off and there is no live audio Q&A after. In the past we've done this on a platform that works so seemlessly that the webinar looks like its live. This is our first time trying it on zoom. Has anyone tried this approach to webinars on zoom before? If so do you have any best practices to share?

Managing Registration List

Any tips on how to manage the registration list? I have to run a report each time. If there is a duplicate, I am not able to remove the person. Thank you for your time.
