Hi,

I am using an HDMI ghost monitor. I screen share my full-screen Powerpoint presentation from that monitor which works great so I can have my main monitor not as cluttered by a big 'ole full screen presentation. I have the ghost monitor set to 1920 x 1080.

I am curious: have you noticed any resolution issues (ie, worse resolution) when screen sharing from the ghost monitor?

Thanks!

Attendee Number Discrepancy in Zoom Webeinar

In a recent webinar, we noted 80 attendees in our host/panel. However, when browsing/scrolling through the "Chat" function, there were not 80 people listed there? Any idea why the discrepancy?  Thank you! M

Hi,

We currently have a Webinar 500 license tied to a user, but our webinar is now over 1000 registrants and I want to upgrade our Webinar 500 to 3000, but I am not seeing an option to change my current plan. I can purchase a Webinar 3000 but then if I switch out the Webinar licenses would the existing webinar under Webinar 500 be removed when I remove that license??

Thanks for the help, our Webinar is Tuesday night 🙂

Is there a way to lock it to only "Host and Panelists"? Right now attendees are able to toggle between the two but we want to disable that.

Thanks!

Hello

We have to organise a webinar in which a speaker (external business consultancy) shows a report to attendees. The speaker should be able to be on video and should be able to share material, while the attendees:
1) shouldn't be able interact with the speaker
and
2) shouldn't be able to see who else is connected

There will be less than 500 attendees so we can't buy the Zoom Webinars subscription.

As an alternative, we are considering to buy the Zoom Session subscription. We have two questions:

1) Does the Zoom Session subscription guarantee the 2 criteria above?

and

2) Is it possible to buy the Zoom Session subscription just for one month?

Thank you for your help!

Specific Name Display

Is it possible to get the attendees name and the organisations name while they join the meeting. For example, can the attendees name display as Abhishek-Chorus Call in the webinar if the registration fields mention the option.

in a Crestron Zoom Room setup, mic audio goes through without issue but music cuts out consistently.  i've made sure Echo Cancelation is ON and any form of Noise Suppresion i can adjust is turned OFF as this was the only thing i saw online that could help.  everything else is setttings in the laptop or phone app and aren't available via Zoom Room panels.  I've confirmed that the feed is solid as it's also going out live over Viemo with no issues, can work 100% on my laptop and i've even switched out the USB interface and tested again in the Zoom Room and my laptop.  only in the Zoom Room is there an issue.

Crestron has gone through their support and stated that their isn't an internal setting to adjust, so i'm left with whatever Zoom settings.  i couldn't find anything directing me to the Admin Portal to make any of the suggested changes and it appeared that any of the changes for live music might need to be done per meeting and can't be applied globally

everything was recently updated within the last 2 weeks to latest versions on 64-bit.

Trying desperately to get help for a client but it appears i'm out of luck?  Not sure of their subscription but i know they've recently receieved phone support for other interal issues for this system and i have the previous ticket number on hand.  before i completely give up i'm hoping their might be something someone can point me to (that applies to Zoom Rooms)  I Really don't want to make the client start the slow process of reaching out for support again if i don't have to, as their previous attempts for help took a while and strained their confidence in the platform

Cannot switch on Videos of the particiants in webinars, they can´t, too, button can not be pressed

Video issue. When I create webinars, the participants cannot press the video icon to be visible, despite the correct settings. Only those who have set an image are then visible with their image. What am I doing wrong?

I have Zoom One plan and Events. I have been looking for the 'practice' and backstage options in the Event. I cant see options.

  • However I made a test 'webinar' and both functions are available.
  • My assumption is I need to convert my Event (meeting)  to a Webinar

Is this correct - 'practice' and 'backstage' functions are only available in Webinar mode?

I need all attendees to be able to input to the discussion - this is why I selected 'Event (meeting) but perhaps I am mis understanding and the webinar has this function BUT the ability for attendees to input is under the control of the Host?

Any feedback would be great Thanks

Anyone know what is causing this and how we can avoid it? is this a bug with how Zoom captures video?
