My Zoom Workplace Pro subscription was renewed automatically and without warning. I could swear I cancelled my subscription for the following month, only to receive an email stating that a debit had been placed on my account. I went ahead and cancelled again, this time requesting a refund. It appears that it is easier for a donkey to pass through the eyes of a needle than to receive a refund from Zoom. I also checked the forum and discovered that many individuals have complained about being unable to get a refund, which appears to be a planned rip-off.
Zoom Online also claims that "
Effective immediately, customers with subscription plans greater than $10 USD/month may receive live chat support. Sign in and visit our contact page to view your support options."
After being charged $17.19, I am left to communicate with a Bot. Mind you, my subscription to Workplace Pro was supposed to cost roughly $15, but I was charged $17.
I am tired at this point. I just want a refund, and I'm not returning to Zoom after all these.
