WHY CAN'T I RECORD SIDE-BY-SIDE?

I have a pro account. 

 

Every single thing I've read about how to record myself and the person I am talking to side-by-side fails. I have 'pinned' each of us, I have gallery mode setting in place, I have recorded to the cloud in place.

 

Yet, once a recording is done, each speaker takes up full screen when talking and toggles back and forth. This is maddening. 


I am preparing to cancel my account and ask for a refund.
