On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Our T57W Yealink phones were experiencing intermittent audio issues. We found that they were not on the latest Yealink firmware. Instead of 97.87.0.15 that was released March 10, 2025, they were still on 96.86.3.17. The Zoom Chat Agent couldn't explain why they haven't pushed out the latest release, does anyone know? After I manually updated the firmware on each device through the IP GUI the audio issue hasn't resurfaced. I just hope to not have to manually update the next time Yealink releases a firmware update.

As far as i know, the latest release was processed during the past weekend. Usually Zoom will do an auto pulling (firmware update) for Yealink devices within 3 days after release unless your admin turned off the auto update in your admin portal. You don't need to manually update all of your devices.

Thank you for your reply. I manually updated all but 2 phones, both of which are still on the previous version. Can you tell me where to go in the admin portal to check if automatic phone updates are turned off so I can check?

For example, the firmware will be locked in 8.2.2.1176 in this case.
