Yealink T46U - reprogram/relocate softkeys

When I'm in call, the hangup softkey is on another screen - very annoying as I use speakerphone nearly exclusively.   I read an article on how to change "features.cfg" as a means to remapping these softkeys, but that sounds like something which will be wiped out whenever a provisioning/phone update takes place.  Is there a better way to change the softkeys?

hi tawnytim,

when you want to hang up a speakerphone call, just press the speakerphone button.

the speakerphone button (usually located in the bottom-right corner of the phone).

please also see zoom's Quick start guide for Yealink T4/T5 series

Eliot, I agree with Twanytim, The softkeys should be in a different order. I have a customer that wants them rearranged. I have been through the admin manual and see where it can be completed, but when I move them, they stop working. Can you provide some clearer explanation on how to rearrange the soft keys and not just how to use them?

For parameter changes to any device that is registered to Zoom, you should be using a phone template and not make any configuration changes locally and as you experienced, every time it resyncs/provisions, those local changes are overwritten by Zoom.
