When we transfer calls the Caller ID of the person transferring shows instead of who is actually calling? How do we change this?

using zoom windows client version 6.1.0 receiving the call and transferring the call to a poly vvx 450 desk phone with 6.4.6.2681 firmware, this is what happens.
Direct Transfer. when the person transferring the call uses zoom windows client direct transfer, the caller id of the original call is displayed.
Warm Transfer. if the person transferring the call uses zoom windows client warm transfer, the caller id of the person transferring the call is initialled displayed. when the warm transfer is completed, the original caller id is displayed.
please explain what zoom client, app or deskphones you are using.

We are having this same issue. We want calls transferred to show the name of the original caller instead of the person transferring the call. We are using Yealink T46U desktop phones for this. A call transferred from the desktop phone will show "[Name of person transferring] Calling For [Name of queue]".

@eowens did you happen to figure this out? We too use the same phone and need the original caller's caller ID to transfer along with their call. Thanks!

hi eowens,
i tested with my yealink sip-t46u, firmware 108.86.3.7.
on consultative transfer, the screen initially displays the party transferring the call to you. after you talk to the the party transferring the call to you and the party transferring the call completes the transfer, the name (if available) and telephone number of the original caller is displayed on your phone.
on a blind transfer, the original caller name (if available) and number is displayed on your phone as soon as the call is transferred.
