SMS on Zoom Phone (no direct phone number)

Hello-

 

I recently switched to Zoom phone but im having issues sending SMS (text messages). I am using the desktop app and the SMS tab is saying that im unable to send texts because a direct phone number has not been assigned. The SMS feature has been enabled in my settings; however this feature is still not available.

You need to have a DID(Direct number) assigned to you for you to be able to use SMS. Additionally, please check with your account admin if they already completed 10DLC registration for the entire account so SMS can be used by users in the account.
