When it is outside of business hours, we have Closed Hours Overflow set to forward the calls to an external answering service. My question is before the calls are routed to the answering service does a greeting play, and where would I configure that greeting?

This probably depends on the situation - are you talking about an Auto Attendant, user extension, call queue, etc. etc.?

Hi @SSander
You have the option of playing a greeting or disabling it.
See attached screenshot of our Auto Receptionist Closed Hours setting. This is found in the Zoom web portal at
https://zoom.us/pbx/page/telephone/auto-receptionists#/auto-receptionists?page_number=1&page_size=15
There are similar options at the Call Queue and Phone User levels.
I hope that helps!

This is for call queues. The setting for closed hours greeting prompt is missing. How do I get it enabled?

Hi @SSander
I just looked... indeed it is not there for Closed Hours on the Call Queue. Apparently it's not something to be enabled. You could submit a Feature Request at https://zoom.us/feed
In the meantime, you may want to transfer the call to an Auto Receptionist that shares the same Business Hours and have the Auto Receptionist play the greeting and transfer to the External Number.
I hope that helps!
