On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Yealink Phones "No Connection"

I have several Yealink t33g phones that have the same problem: They're on my network on the right VLAN (get the appropriate IP address and can hit the internet) but are not talking to Zoom to get any information)

I already confirmed that the phones are assigned to a user/common area extension but nothing is working.

Hi @MSheinberg

Were these previously used with another phone system? Did you perform a factory reset on them?

  • if previously used phones, were they factory reset as mentioned above?
  • any chance firewall is blocking some of the provisioning ports?
  • do any of your yealink phones provision and work?
  • did you try the manual provisioning where you input the URL in the phone's web portal?
