Phoning from Australian computer to UK landline

Now that Skype has died, I just need a means of phoning from my computer in Australia to my brother's landline in the UK twice a month, so I can hear the call on my computer speakers instead of on the phone (I am deaf). It seems that somewhere in Zoom Pro + there is the ability to make international calls, but it is impossible to obtain details eg how many calls or minutes per month? I'm not prepared to buy it to find out, so where can I get details? Zoom Pro + seems a very expensive way to get what I need, is there a cheaper reliable way? Call2 friends and similar services are free, but don't work for the UK, as they don't get priority on routes.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @pmwilkinson.

There's a pricing page here: https://zoom.us/billing/pbx/rates

What I don't know is how this works from Australia to the UK, since I think this rate sheet is for US-based phone numbers.  One source tells me that you'd pay the "Call to UK" rate even from Australia, but I'm not entirely sure.

I reached out to my buddy @Eliot who knows way more about the Zoom Phone system than I do... here's the info he offered me:

I am no expert on pricing.  Zoom Phone addons include Unlimited International Calling for USD 10.00 per month/license.  Requires any unlimited calling plan. Includes  US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Japan.  Another option is to pay international metered rates, but I am not sure what these rates are in Australia.  maybe one of the zoom employee members of zoom community with pricing knowledge could answer.
