How can I add buttons to the Yealink expansion module? Is it somewhere on the Zoom admin portal or from the Yealink phone web portal?

You add everything through the Zoom web portal via the desk phone Keys and Positions settings. My experience when using the devices local web interface for lines has not been good. When the device syncs with Zoom, the Zoom side overrides the local settings.

What position should I start? If I add anything from 1 to 10, it appears on the phone and not on the expansion module. Also, this is for the receptionist and she wanted to transfer calls to users. So what button should I add? Is it speed dial or BLF?
Thank you,

Depends on the button count of the phone. If you have a (4) button set, you should start at button (5). A BLF could work or be rejected if you set a BLF contact that is part of your same shared line group. If you run into that issue, I would go with the speed dial.
