5 Zoom Phone #'s want to Delete 3 of them

I currently have 5 zoom phone numbers, but no longer need three of them. Can anyone help me to delete specific numbers from my account as well as stop the billing process. I want to keep two specific numbers, delete the other three and stop being billed.

The first step is to understand Zoom Phone licensing, the second step is to determine your Zoom Phone requirements (how you want your Zoom Phone system to work) and the third step is to remove unneeded licenses.

 

Zoom Phone Licensing.

Zoom Phone has paid licenses and calling plans for users that need to make and receive external calls.  Each paid license generally includes one telephone number.  In addition, Zoom Phone has paid options to add additional telephone numbers.  Zoom Phone also has free (Basic) licenses for users that do not need to make external calls (extension to extension dialing only).

Zoom Phone Requirements.

If you only have two users that need to make and receive external calls, you could assign the telephone numbers you want to keep to these two users.  If you want to have a main company number, you might want to assign a telephone number to your main auto receptionist. 

 

There are a few ways you could set up your Zoom Phone system.

Assign both numbers you want to keep to your main auto receptionist.  The interactive voice response system would prompt callers to select the desired user.

 

Assign each user a telephone number.  Callers would dial the number of the user they want to connect to.  There would be no direct number for your company.

 

Assign one telephone number to the main auto receptionist and separate telephone numbers to the two users.  This would permit direct calling to your company and both users.
