record botton missing

The record button does not show up in my zoom client. I am a paid up user of zoom. I have reloaded the zoom client on my windows 10 computer but the record icon still does not show up. In my settings I have enabled "record to computer".

Assuming that you turned on settings > recording tab > local recording in the web portal.

In the Zoom client click on the more menu "..." to see if the selection appears there.

I have turned on the local recording option in the web portal but still no luck in getting the recording tab in my zoom client, I have a work-around solution by also activating the record automatically option so that when I do open my zoom client the recording starts right away and I can control it by pausing the recording or turning it off. However, the lack of the record button remains a mystery.
