audio static on zoom meetings

Recently I've started noticing static (and others hear it too) in meetings when others are sharing or if  I am.

It may be related to zoom audio settings. I don't get any static when playing music, watching videos or during audio testing. I run Windows11 on a Lenovo Yoga with Dolby capable speakers.

I made a change to my audio settings and it went away. 😊

Try stopping then restarting the share and see if the static goes away.

Thanks for the feedback. It turned out to be an audio setting

Typically, this can be the result of an incorrect sampling rate. Computer audio is transmitted as a digital signal. Zoom prefers to see everyone using a sample rate of 48K. Some devices will do a sample rate of 32K. When you check audio in statistics you may see 32/48 indicating a mix of device sample rates which Zoom will try to adjust. This does not always work especially if your local sound card is set at a different sample rate than 48K.

Where do you change the sample rate in Zoom?

How do you change the sample rate?  I keep having static. I found this and was wondering if this was the right or wrong value on ZoomIMG_3381.jpeg
