I've noticed that sometimes my calls drop unexpectedly or the audio becomes choppy, even though my internet connection seems fine. Has anyone else experienced intermittent call quality on Zoom phone, and are there any tips to improve stability? It’s becoming a real headache during important meetings.

You can try these troubleshooting steps for Zoom phone call quality issues:

  • Dropped calls and choppy audio are often caused by network issues. Try using a different network or mobile data. If calls are stable on other networks, review the firewall or ports on the problematic network.
  • For better call quality, ensure your admin has allowed all required ports for Zoom Phone and check recommended network statistics.
  • Audio failures may occur if the VDI plugin crashes and restarts during call connection.
