On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom is not responding

Hi there! Zoom is not responding. Very annoying! It happened overnight, yesterday. When I'm trying to join, or create a room and it's asking me to connect audio, it simply freezes and will stay there for 5 minutes. I have to hop in and out meetings constantly, and this is costing me a lot of time.

I was wondering if it was my computer, so I updated all my drivers, got rid of access headsets, mics and camera's, re-installed Zoom and even reinstalled my PC and it is still not working. I have the same issues on my phone. When I'm trying to connect to a room on my phone, it is also taking lots of time and the app freezes.

Hi, our users are running Windows 10 and we recently got the notification to update the Zoom Desktop Client to version 5.12.2 (11434). Once we have updated to the latest version, a lot of the users are experiencing Zoom Is Not Responding error. 

 

This occurs either when they try to launch a meeting or sharing screen.
