I am the only one on my account, and am assigned account owner. My Zoom version is very out of date because I do not have separate Admin assigned. The Zoom Virtual Agent keeps referring me to Zoom Support for Admin Assistance, but I'm in the infinite loop of trying to connect to a life agent and getting cut off.
Is there any way out of Zoom hell? All I want is the latest version!

Hello @lcorazzi,
Have you tried going to zoom.us/download and downloading the latest version onto your machine?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it. I would download the link, but when I clicked to open the file I was taken to the screen where you'd log into a meeting. I even had a real techy person watch what I was doing (repeatedly), and all she could offer was 'that's weird!'

Do you mean log in to the app or the application on your desktop? It should be taking you to the login page to login to the Zoom Workplace app.

If you can log in to the app, then you can go to your profile icon, and then click on "check for updates" and the latest software available will come to your app.
Here is a screenshot of my account from the home page of the Desktop App.

Yes, I've looked there too! The only options I get are Plans/Billing, Add an Account (which does nothing), and Sign Out. I have opened a claim with Zoom Tech Support, so maybe there will be a solution. I really don't want to go to Microsoft Teams!

Hello @lcorazzi,
Technical Support is the right move, they will be able to help you, but if you are seeing plans and billing then you are on the web client (or your browser) I am talking about the Zoom Desktop App, sort of like a iPhone or android app, Zoom has a desktop app where you can make settings changes as well. If you click on the app, and then go to your profile picture (initials if you do not have a picture) then you can slide down to the "check for updates" tab and click on it. Then it will download the latest version that is available for your region. I am on version 6.3.5 for my macOS, and I have not checked my windows computer lately. Try that and let me know. Also send me your ticket number and I will check on your case and make sure that it is getting the proper attention.
