I have purchased a wireless mic that plugs into my usb-c port on my Samsung Galaxy S21+. The camera on my phone locks up the USB mic,  however zoom does not.

I don't even see an option to pick the mic source from my phone.  I would really appreciate any help.

Hello @sarbari

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

To troubleshoot microphone issues on a mobile device using the Zoom app, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the microphone is not muted. If you see the muted audio icon in the meeting controls, tap it to unmute yourself. If you remain muted, the host may have muted you; send a chat message to request to be unmuted.

2. Confirm that you have connected your device's audio. Tap the Join Audio icon in the meeting controls and select Call Over Internet. If prompted, allow Zoom to access your microphone.

3. Try using earphones with a built-in microphone.

4. Check that Zoom has permission to access your microphone:
- For iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and toggle on Zoom.
- For Android: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > App permissions or Permission Manager and toggle on Zoom.

5. Ensure no other applications are using the microphone. Close any running apps that may be using it:
- For iOS: Double-tap the Home button and swipe up to close apps.
- For Android: Tap the multi-task button and swipe left or right to close apps.

6. Restart your mobile device.

7. If issues persist, consider reinstalling the Zoom app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
