I launched the app today to an unpleasant surprise - there seems to be no way to get my list of recurring meetings to show up other than from a tiny dropdown? This is a terrible change for my use purposes - most of my meetings are "no fixed time" and I rely on being able to see and access that list easily throughout my work day as I meet with clients. The other thing I do at start is launch my personal meeting room for drop-in meetings, and that is also difficult to find and access. I do not want Zoom to manage my calendar, I do not want or need a calendar view, and now there is no option other than this useless view? I would like to have choice in what kind of display I have, because this is not it! Older questions about this kind of issue reference a "merge meetings and calendar tab" option in account settings, but this setting DOES NOT EXIST - I have searched the account settings using Zoom's search feature and it returns no results (see image 2 below).

Commenting to agree, having the exact same experience. I do not, nor will I ever, want Zoom to manage my calendar. My clients require flexibility and I move things around entirely too much to use anything other than "No Fixed Time" for my meetings. Zoom, give me my meetings tab back!
ā2024-09-18 04:43 PM
Agreed, this is frustrating. We have found a workaround where we create a spreadsheet with all our recurring meetings in one location to easily track. We also found a Zoom app, Salepager, that creates a dashboard with out recurring Zoom meetings to access easily throughout the day.

+1 There was a similar change earlier this year. I found a setting that restored the old behavior to show meetings in the app. I can no longer find an option to restore the old behavior. You can kinda get there when the window size is small there's a "See meetings" button. Sorry, I don't have permission to upload images.

I'm pissed with Zoom! They are constantly changing the UI, and now the latest update has removed my meetings tab. I've spent hours trying to get it back and finally did, but it's smaller and beside a calendar that I do not have any use for. Just give me a simple meeting UI and leave all the other junk for others. My clients are also having trouble with all the moving around of settings. I'm not against integrations of other features, but please keep the meetings tab easy to access without any other features. KISS!

I have the same issue and need the list view shown in Zoom help pages restored. Anyone from Zoom able to help??
ā2024-09-16 10:35 AM
Agree to comment above. Prefer to have list of my Zoom meetings not my calendar. Majority of my meetings are recurring adhoc scheduled in Zoom not on my calendar.
Also on new side panel calendar, previous "Meetings" screen could select "Everyone" to show meetings scheduled as host or co-host. The "All events" in new dropdown does not show co-host meetings. Don't have a way to easily start co-host meetings now. Must know what host scheduled meeting.

This update is absolute garbage. Now I have yet another calendar to be linked to, GUI is reducing functionality. It's very likely an information grab for their aggregation of data mining (which is now become industry practice). They add silly things like emojis based on movement yet they reduce/remove the core functionality, sorting, etc. Makes me wonder who the decision makers are. Each time, I am considering finding a new platform.
ā2024-09-16 08:31 PM
Strongly agree with this. When I start the app I need to quickly pick a meeting and enter it. Some, such as my office "room", are not scheduled so are not on the calendar. I have to do Command-J and paste in the Zoom ID that I have saved in a text file to email to students. Zoom should become familiar with user work practices before breaking them with major changes like this.
ā2024-09-16 08:58 PM
Well after a while I found the tiny personal meeting room ID bottom right. But it should be more prominent, and we should have the option of disabling a calendar we don't use and just having a button for each defined meeting.
ā2024-09-17 11:53 AM
@draddison maybe this would help
ā2024-09-18 12:01 PM
Glad I'm not the only one who hates this update. It has completely disrupted my usual workflow. I end up running late for important client meetings because I'm forced to search through Zoom's calendar for my recurrent meetings (which are often scheduled ad-hoc/rescheduled to different days of the week), whereas I could previously just scroll through a single, compact list and immediately find what I needed. How did they push such a huge change to the UI with no choice to make this feature "optional"? Did they do any user research to test whether this feature makes sense to implement across the board? These features add too many bells and whistles to the point of making the product lose its basic functionality.
The calendar feature needs to be "optional", with the option for a "list view" instead.
And if a meeting has more than 60 occurrences, it doesn't need to clutter my UI - I just need one link located in the same place every week.

Agreed! It was shocking and disorienting to log-in to find the major change, especially since I forgot to add a Zoom link to an Outlook Calendar invite. This intensified the feeling of being flustered and anxious for me šš.
Also the new location for some reoccurring meetings (my personal ID is not listed at the top anymore) has moved to the right, requires an expansion button, and the text is very small! I wish it was the other way around. If I wanted to see a Calendar sync, I would rather push the expand button for that, not have it as my default dashboard.

Hello Zoom Community members! I'm sorry for the delayed response.
The setting for merging the Meetings and Calendar tabs was removed from the Web portal on September 16, 2024. For Zoom Workplace app version 6.2.0 and higher, the tabs are now permanently merged to enhance visibility of calendar views and meeting details. More details on this change are available in our support article: Using the merged Meetings and Calendar tabs. Using the "Agenda" option will provide a view that is more similar to the previous Meetings view rather than a full calendar view
If you would like to submit a feature request regarding the Calendar view, you can do so using the Give Feedback tab within the Zoom client.
Thank you for understanding.

This isn't answering the question at all. Is Zoom going to be bringing back the simple, functional, list of meetings? We don't want a calendar - Zoom is for online meetings, other apps manage our schedules.
ā2024-09-25 02:52 AM
Very much in agreement! Zoom is for meetings. Thunderbird is for email. Why are both trying to be calendars too, when we have iCal and the like?
ā2024-10-02 05:21 PM
Leaving this here because the "Give Feedback" in the app doesn't really work.
------------------
I just had an update a couple of days ago and suddenly my Meetings tab was gone (I had it set to "NOT Merge") and replaced by the Calendar tab. And not only the Calendar tab but my actual calendar. Since I have like 10 subcalendars, it was now impossible to see any of my actual Zoom meetings. Also, my repeated meetings were listed under the proper date and time.... but every single instance appeared there - ie, if there were 10 repeated meetings left in the year, ALL of them appeared crammed together on the same day.
I wasted TWO HOURS that I didn't have trying to find out how to unmerge them, only to be told that's no longer a thing - if you have an integrated calendar, you now have Calendar view and well, SORRY if you don't like it or it doesn't work for you. The "Help" Bot is SOOO useless it might as well be trying to answer questions about how to make bread because it doesn't answer anywhere CLOSE to what you're trying to ask it. So, "Real person please." only to find out that the service that I PAY for doesn't allow me to have live support. I signed out of the calendar integration, trying to turn something, anything off. No go.
Finally I just deleted the calendar integration entirely from both Zoom AND Google, in three different spots (web version, desktop app version, google version). Blessedly my Meetings tab is back. No calendar integration, but I didn't much use it anyway, and the places I do absolutely need it like for Calendly, it still works.
Please don't force stuff like these merges on your customers. Give an option to turn it off. Because, I am not a fan of "Butter", but I'm starting to consider it as my meeting option rather than Zoom.
Thanks.

That is not the point. The new UI disrupts the workflow of many members of your community. With the new UI, it is extremely cumbersome to access recurring meetings or the personal meeting. The Zoom UI should focus on meetings - list them in an organized and easily accessible way.
Zoom is not Teams. It will never get there. We do not want yet another calendar. We do not want the team chat or whiteboard tabs listed before the meetings. I recommend that Zoom focuses on what it does best and does not try to become something it is not. There are plenty of alternatives by now - video calls are integrated into virtually every other collaboration tool, so jumping ship is easy.

I want to upvote this one million times! I'm so tired of companies trying to do everything rather than stick to doing 1 thing really well. As soon as Zoom added email and calendar features I knew it was downhill from there. I already have email and a calendar that Zoom has integrated with perfectly.
I agree, it's time to start evaluating a replacement for Zoom. It's no longer the right fit for me.
ā2024-09-30 09:57 AM
I see that in web Settings / Meeting that switch for "Merge Meetings and Calendar tab" is back. Was able to get "Meetings" tab back on client.
ā2024-10-01 06:23 AM
Dang, I don't seem to have that setting. Maybe it's a staged rollout? That must have been the one I used before when this happened but the took the setting away from me.
ā2024-10-02 03:46 PM
I have this setting on in web Settings / Meetings but it does not restore the previous simple list of meetings. The only meeting it puts in a list is the one that has no scheduled time (my virtual office). The meetings for my classes are not on the list; they are only in the calendar view.
Zoom, you have lots of feedback, are you listening? Restore the list. Or let us revert to the previous version. This version is also having problems with black video in recordings when the video is coming from another clinet.
ā2024-10-02 05:06 PM
After changing settings, had to sign out/in to see āmeetingā tab back. I see list of scheduled meetings on my calendar and all recurring meetings with no time or date as before.
ā2024-11-04 04:07 AM
I confirm - the new UI is really aefull.
All Meetings I sat up are repeated meetings without a special term and I need a list of them to attend.
A hint for all with the same problem:
Additionally to the personal meeting, accessible in the lower left corner of the window there ist a "Recurring" button on the left of the personal meeting (I'm not allowed to post images).
With the "Recurring" button a Dialog rises up which shows the Meetings without term.
Unfortunatelly it's a modal dialog and not a view like "Agenda".
@zoom-Team: Please create a normal view from this!
