Need registration but want to use a common link to join

I need meetings that require registration (so we can track who attends the meetings) BUT users always need reminding and we don't want to have to manually send out reminder emails (from the Meetings -> Meeting Name -> Registration -> View -> Resend Confirmation Email). Can we use a generic link that is good for everyone? OR can we configure Zoom to automatically send everyone their links a few minutes before the meeting start? This is a bit of a nightmare for us adminstration-wise.

If you are using the same meeting id then you have a common link.

If you are changing the meeting id with each meeting then the link is changing.

If this works please click accept as a solution.

Hi...thank you for your response.
But isn't each person's url unique as it indicates here: https://share.zight.com/yAuq77lK
based on all the numbers/letters after the meeting ID?
Or can I still just send the meeting url with ID and scrape off the rest of the url...and that will work for every registrant?

Hello @tracyselena! I'm sorry for the delayed response. When registration is required, each registrant receives a unique join link associated with their individual registration. This is how Zoom tracks attendance for the meeting.

To enable automatic reminder emails for registered participants, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Zoom web portal.

  2. Schedule your meeting and ensure that registration is required.

  3. After the meeting is scheduled, scroll down to the Email Settings section on the meeting details page.

  4. Click Edit next to "Confirmation Email to Registrants."

  5. Enable the following options as needed:

    • Send confirmation email

    • Send reminder email 1 day before the meeting

    • Send reminder email 1 hour before the meeting

These reminder emails will be automatically sent by Zoom to all registered participants. Make sure both reminder options are turned on to minimize no-shows and reduce manual follow-up.

You can automatically send out reminder emails using APIs to extract their unique links and emails. If you are not a developer there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you automatically send reminders for Zoom meetings with registration.
