My zoom audio always outputs to the laptop speaker no matter what

I have wired headphones connected to my laptop with Windows 11. All my audio comes through the headphones except for Zoom. Things I have tried:

Making sure my Zoom audio output is configured to work with the headphones

Making sure that the Windows audio settings are correct

Making sure that the individual application (Zoom) is configured to send its audio output to the headphones

But nothing works! What else should I try?

Go to settings > audio > Speaker make sure that the laptop sound card is selected and click "test speaker" to check it.
