I have Basic Zoom versionn 6.5.11 running on an Adroid phone, Samsung Galaxy S25+ (recent model). On this phone, Gallery view does no work properly. On any of my Windows computers I see a matrix of rectangular views of the correct aspect ratio. My view of myself is is the same as all the others, included in the matrix. On my phone, the views of other participants are all perfect squares no matter how I orient the phone, and my view of myself (the speaker?) us a small thumbnail. I can't find a setting that will make my phone go into the normal matrix gallery view. The only control I have on the phone of my views is swiping left. The last swipe left brings up the fake gallery view described above.
The correct gallery view used to work for me on an older Samsung phone, probably with an older Zoom version. As I recall, there was a view control on the upper right corner that included the matrix of dots (the gallery) that you see on a computer. Now that control is gone, and all I see is a single dot, which has nothing to do with the view.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there any way for me to get back to the correct gallery view on my phone?
