My mentor today told me that we have access to 1080 HD video recording but that we need to have turned on for us. How do I go about getting access? I attempted to get answers from the agent but got no where.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Tina7.

First, I recommend familiarizing yourself with this Zoom Support article on HD:

https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066166

There, it now states that 720 is available for Pro accounts and 1080 is available for Business and higher. This covers Active Speaker view in a meeting. (Previously you had to request these higher resolutions,)

The statement:

Accounts that meet all other HD video prerequisites can also request 720p or 1080p feeds for webinar attendees. This feature must be enabled by Zoom.

… essentially requires you to send in a Support Ticket to request the enablement for webinars.

so we automatically get 1080p if we choose bussiness plan?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @eventbeacukai.

I know it’s not exactly prominently displayed, but see the sticker I referenced last year:

Request enablement by opening a ticket requesting 1080 in accordance with the article referenced above. Expect it to take 2-4 days to be completed.
