that the "solution" to getting zoom to stop freezing/lagging is turning off built in Zoom features? Are no engineers seeing this as a problem?

BTW, tried everything ever listed in these forums to get zoom to stop lagging every 5 minutes. nothing worked.

Video lagging is most often caused by using WiFi instead of ethernet, not enough CPU power (certain features such as virtual backgrounds or effects need more CPU power), insufficient internet bandwidth. Since you did not state anything about your connection or hardware it is not possible to assess actual possible causes. I do multiple Zoom meetings every week and have no lag issues even on a $200 Windows 10 Pro i7 computer connected via ethernet to a 10 Mbps upload internet connection.

I use ethernet, not WiFi, still the same issue... WIN10 Pro 64 with massive Harddrive and maxed out RAM (16GB), still lagging and always saying good bye...

Ridiculous...

I have zero issues with wifi except for Zoom. Even on an ethernet cable it lags. Even on a different wifi network. Only using about 45% of CPU.

ridiculous yes! I hate it and it is not helping at all... Gets worse over time I feel... I am on ethernet with my PC and not on WiFi... And it works in the beginning, but then half way through the call all of a sudden it starts to stop working and then totally blanks out... And the messages I sent to zoom using the window that pops up did not do anything, no response, no nothing...
