I am just booking a Zoom meeting. I have come to setting the time, for example 6pm. The box rejects my time, and stays stuck at 11pm. Even if I over type it , it will not let me book 6pm. This is the first time I have encountered this. Is this because someone in my house has hacked into it, and taken the time slot, or disabled the use of Zoom for their own use or blockade?
Interested to know why this has happened.

That would take a serious prankster.
More likely it is a Internet browser cache issue. You can scheduled as many meeting as you want, for the same time slot., so try cleaning your cache and cookies, or more simply try it with a different Internet Browser.
If you keep running into difficulties, might be worth contacting tech support.
