Since a couple of weeks back, when I schedule a meeting I don't get the option to open it in iCal. After clicking send it just disappears and I don't even know it's scheduled in Zoom, if the invite has been sent to the attendee or if it's been synced to my iCal like before. Turns out it hasn't been sent to the attendee and it isn't synced to iCal but it does show up as scheduled in Zoom .
Anybody know how to fix it?

Zoom syncs directly with google calendar and outlook. The iCal integration has unfortunately been deprecated. You could use Zoom's API to trigger an event in iCal when creating a Zoom meeting. You could also copy the event into iCal each time you schedule a Zoom meeting. Alternatively, there are a host of scheduling apps that can create Zoom meetings and sync to iCal. Looking through the Zoom marketplace one option is Salepager, which syncs with Zoom and iCal.

It seem the 'newer version' of the scheduler is missing to trigger the 'add event' section ... I suggest to switch off the new version and you will see the option again in a section call 'Calendar'.
I Hope zoom reads this comments and fix it before they release the upgrade ... alternatively you can add yourself into the event and you will get an email where you can add it into iCal.

Great advice... WORKS! Hopefulling we can always work outside the "new" version. Thanks you.

Problem with the “old” version and the reason that I stopped using it is that it doesn’t send the invite to the other attendee. So, I either have to copy paste the event to the calendar or copy paste the invite and send it. How can they be this bad? Both those things are necessary to schedule anything

How do I switch off the new version and will it impact performance?

same problem here -- VERY disappointed

Same problem here. If it isn't corrected I will definitely unsubscribe and find an alternative to Zoom. It's so frustrating as ical is an amazing program and I'm not about to stop using it.

It seems very short-sighted of Zoom to exclude iOS users.

Yes, I agree. It makes scheduling much more laborious.
