Registration Form - Supply responses via URL

I have a Zoom registration form for an event, which asks for First Name, Last Name and Email Address.

I am directing classmates to this form from our class website.

I want to not require them to complete the above 3 fields as that information is known to us on the sending website before the redirect.

How do I supply this information in the redirect (either in the URL or in a POST format)? And how do I find out the names of these three fields?

I am using PHP on my server side and HTML/JavaScript on the client side.

I have tried this using your exact scenario, and have successfully done so using all of the following routes for various events:

  • EASY:
Embedded Zoom Registration form (as an iframe in the website)
  • CUSTOM:
PHP data collection to .csv file -> imported to Zoom Registration
  • ENTERPRISE-LEVEL:
"Roundtrip Registration" using Zoom + applications (Constant Contact, Eventbrite, Excel, Google Sheets) all connected through app integration tools like Zapier and Microsoft PowerAutomate

If you're looking for quick solutions to test out, try feeding your question into prompt in ChatGPT, CoPilot, or other AI, including the names of the apps you'd like to use (BUT NOT the data/people information).

Hope this helps! Make sure to press "Accept as Solution" on this post if this answers your question. Happy Zooming!
