I signed up for a Zoom trial but forgot to turn off renewal. After the trial period on March 15, the system automatically renewed the annual Zoom Workplace Pro subscription through the Google Play Store, so I would like to request a refund. I canceled the subscription through Google Play and I kindly request that you consider processing the refund as an exception.
I have emailed to support team as well as Submit a request but have not received a response. Where can I track my request.
Thanks

Thanks for reply my topic.
I'm already canceled on Google Play but I don't know how to refund. Who should I send my request to? Is Google Play the one that will refund me or Zoom?
Have a good day,
Hong Chau

Hi @hongchau,
In your case, Zoom would be the one responsible to issue a refund. That said, it looks like your request has already been resolved through the submitted ticket. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Cheers,
Zoom Community Team

Hi, I have the same problem, I signed up for a Zoom trial but forgot to turn off renewal. After the trial period, today on April 10, the system automatically renewed the annual Zoom Workplace Pro subscription without sending an advice or asking for a permission to renew, so I would like to request a refund. I've already canceled the subscription through Zoom site and I kindly request that you consider processing the refund as an exception because I'm really don't need to use the pro features. Please if you could help me I would very grateful. Cheers.

Hi you have to create a ticket to zoom support explaining your problem. i received a reply to my email a week or so later where they said they would refund me within 3 to 5 working days and they did it on the fifth day. I hope this can help you.

Can you please solve my case? I sent an email on the 26th of March to cancel the subscription. But I was charged on the 8th of April.
I have contacted the support team. The have ignored my emails. They did not take into account the fact I sent an email to cancel the subscription on the 26th of March. The fact is my employer has bought a zoom subscription so I don't need my personal one anymore.

Hello
I have the same problem. The system automatically renewed the subscription. I sent an email in March to end the subscription but didn't get any reply. I didn't know I had to follow a different procedure. My employer has paid for a work subscription, I don't need a personal subscription. So I would like a refund, please.

theyāre a bunch of grimy thieves and only care about taking peopleās money
ā2025-04-14 07:25 PM
Same thing happened to me, itās disgusting. I told them I did not receive any email alerting me of my autorenewal and they just kept citing the āterms and conditionsā like okay that means nothing, most companies who care about their customers and donāt need to do shady stuff to make money will actually notify people. Who remembers terms and conditions from a year ago?! Itās normal human decency. Ew.

And the not excepting no for an answer. Iām hoping that my bank fights hard for this.
